“Beautiful Hotel”

This truly is a five-star property in esthetics. The service when applicable was excellent by all staff except the restaurant staff. The night we stayed was very cold and because it was before Oct 15 there was no heat available. That's a bad idea for a 5-star property to allow its guests to be that uncomfortable, and we were. It was very cold that night. Also, there was no Satellite TV, which was a huge factor in us chosing this property to have a night "in" and watch a movie. It had been raining and we were told at first that the weather influenced the TV system. However, internet was working and upon asking a second time about the TV, we were told that the person who could "fix" it, wouldnt be in to work until the next morning. So we spent one night, no TV, no heat and then we left. I wish I could give them a rave review because the property is so beautiful, but those are 2 big factors for a thumbs down. i

“Relaxing”

Despite some negative reviews, we were very satisfied. Our room was lovely - clean, spacious and comfortable. We wanted to relax at the pool for the last few days of our 3 week holiday in Sicily and this was the perfect place. We had each of our evening meals at the restaurant and they were all very good. We would have preferred a vegetarian option in each category in the meals; however, we both felt that if we had asked for vegetarian earlier in the day there would have been no problem on the part of the restaurant accommodating our request. We were just too lazy relaxing by the pool! The relais is quite isolated and set in its own vineyards so quite beautiful as well. All said we went into Cefalu which only took a short time. Returning to the lovely pool, the only suggestion we would make is that some umbrellas be made available. My husband is very fair so the lack of them was harder for him. Should we return to Sicily we would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely chance to relax particularly after having done so much driving to see all the antiquities on the island. The staff both in the relais and the restaurant were extremely pleasant and accommodating.

“A Wonderful Place”

Hotel accommodated a small problem of ours with an upgrade. The room, and hotel was beautiful. We loved the scenic surroundings. We swam, hiked, and took a tour of the winery. If we return to Sicily, we will definitely stay here again. Also, the price was very good (the least we paid of the 5 hotels we stayed in Sicily).

“Wohnen in einem ehemaligen Kloster”

Das sehr abseits gelegende Hotel liegt in den Weinbergen und ist trotzdem relativ leicht zu finden. Für das mitgebrachte Fahrzeug steht ausreichender Parkraum zur Verfügung. Service sollte man in diesen 4-5 Sterne Hotel nicht erwarten. Sogar das Gepäck muss jeder Gast selbst ins Haus tragen. Wir hatten überflüssigerweise eine Suite gebucht und mussten feststellen, dass damit ein Familienzimmer gemeint ist . Das Zimmer war zwar relativ groß, aber sehr unpraktisch eingerichtet. Die Wände im Bad zeigten bereits Schimmelansätze und das WC war für "Riesen" konstruiert. Das Abendessen und Frühstück waren leider mäßig. Dafür war der angebotende Wein in diesem als Weingut betriebene Relais hervorragend.

“Très bonne surprise”

Idéal lorsque l'on souhaite profiter d'un hotel en retrait des lieux touristiques et idéalement situé pour atteindre les principaux points d'attractions de l'île en 2 h00 maximum et à 10 minutes de Céfalu Voiture indispensable pour y accéder. Très bon service

“relais s.anastasia: peccato il kilo in più per l'ottimo ristorante!”

consigliato per chi ama restare in perfetto relax o come base per gite in macchina. L'albergo è molto lontano dal centro abitato, quindi ...solo macchina per i dintorni.

“Un cadre idyllique, un éventail très étendu d'activités possibles”

Cet hôtel est parfait à tous points de vue: il est idéalement situé, en pleine nature, suffisamment loin du tumulte des villes pour pouvoir se reposer et suffisamment près des plus beaux sites de l'ouest de la Sicile pour pouvoir leur consacrer à chacun une journée ou une demi-journée (Ségeste, Sélinonte, Cefalù, Agrigente et la Vallée des Temples, Palerme, Trapani, Erice...). C'est un hôtel d'une propreté exemplaire, on s'y repose totalement, le silence est un vrai bonheur si on est fatigué de la frénésie urbaine, le petit déjeuner est de qualité (salade de fruits frais, jus d'oranges pressées, du salé, du sucré...), le restaurant est très bien, raffiné et raisonnable en termes de prix, le personnel est charmant, la piscine est magnifique, la structure tout entière est de toute beauté!

Area recommendations
Castelbuono, jolie petite ville médiévale et tous les endroits que j'ai cités dans mon avis sur l'hôtel (Ségeste, Sélinonte, Cefalù, Agrigente et la Vallée des Temples, Palerme, Trapani, Erice...). On peut faire aussi des randonnées (d'après la carte topographique achetée à l'office de tourisme pour une prochaine fois, les randonnées semblent très belles, je crois qu'il y a 17 itinéraires possibles).

“Calme et vins à Cefalu”

Trés belle Hacienda, a 12 km de Cefalu, au milieu des vignes et des champs d'olviers. Tres belle piscine, bonne table et vins de la propriété. Service débutant et un peu rural en restauration. Conciergerie a améliorer, mais parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons fréquenté en Sicile. Grand calme.

“Endroit agreable”

Relais de 'passage'; ideal pour passer une nuit et profiter de la piscine et se reposer. Bon restaurant et bon vin made Santa Anastasia.
