I stayed here for three weeks. The staff upgraded my room to one with a balcony, which is great to have-- but both rooms were very nice. The beds are very comfortable, though I do wish they had black-out curtains. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in finding services I needed to fully enjoy my stay in Palermo. The housekeeping staff was diligent and friendly, greatly enjoyed them. I don't usually eat breakfast at hotels, but I did here. The buffet was simple but had something for everyone: eggs, meat, some lovely sweet treats, and great coffee. Even though it was a buffet, the server was always present and happy to get whatever you wanted. The location is quiet--but very, very close to the historic center. I enjoyed the short walk, and i also enjoyed the proximity to more 'local ' cafés, etc. I would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel room was a great surprise. It was definitely comfortable with really nice beds and linens. There were duvets on the bed. The bathroom was not large but it was fine. And the breakfast offered was fine even though the room was very hot. The only bad thing about the hotel was the €100 taxi ride from the Palermo airport. we walked to one of the squares and enjoyed a nice dinner

We are also sorry that you had a bad taxi experience, but I feel this should not be blamed on the property. This was the worst four-star hotel I've ever been
This was the worst four-star hotel I've ever been to. although the reception was nice, from the outside and the common areas looked good, but the service was terrible, the staff didn't even see us, the breakfast was very poor, but the worst thing was the cleanliness. There was a terrible smell in the room and mold in the shower. This is Deluxe room in 4-star hotel.

Our room was clean and comfortable, though not fancy at all. Breakfast was a nice buffet, included in the room fee. The location was convenient, as we could walk to everything we wanted to see. The staff were helpful with recommendations to restaurants and such. The exterior of the building is rather drab, without clear signage indicating that it is indeed the hotel, and buildings across and on the street are covered in graffiti, so the first impression of the hotel is not good. It looks like a bad neighborhood. But it turned out to be fine….much of Palermo looks this way, with litter and graffiti, which is really sad.

The property was in a great location and convenient to everything. Walked everywhere and never a concern as it was in one of the best areas of Paris. Ate at the brassiere attached to the hotel several times as the food was great there.

Location was very good, 15 mins walk to the old town. Car park was in the basement. Staff was friendly. Only the rain shower was dripping even though we are using the hand held shower. Because if the tour group, for breakfast we have to book our timing

The property was a great value in a great location. Within walking distance from the train station, shopping area with tons of restaurants and bars near by. Very enjoyable stay. The location was good, walking distance to restaurants and the historic centre. The service in the hotel was excellent, staff made taxi & restaurant reservations very simple. We would go back and recommend to others.

Wifi signal did not even register in the room on a laptop and was so weak to be unusable on a mobile. Cleaning was poor and the toilet had wasted water running down the drain for 5 days. Tea and coffee were not replenished each day and cups and saucers not changed or washed.

Sorry for the inconvenience experienced with the wifi signal - we would like to underline though that our cleaning standards, as far as our internal controls and our general guest feedback are concerned, are considered to be very good.It is therefore rather impossible to understand, especially after internal verifications with staff on duty, how saucers and cups could possibly be not changed or room not cleaned properly, or even tea not replenished... that is very far from the actual standars!Also, we are sorry that you have experienced an inconvenience with water running down in the toilet. We check every room before each check-in and had not detected any issue: also, had you shared you had such a discomfort with it, we would have been very happy to change the room for you. Rooms at our property are neither dirty nor falling apart. The pics of the details you have posted are showing just tiny bits of the room, such as an imperfection in the bathroom wall, or some water marks on the marble top in the bathroom, which we upkeep periodically and which will be maintained soon. Our staff has been more than proactive to reply to your every request and we find it very unfair to share anyone was rude, considering everyone has been super attentive. Disappointing 3 day stay. First room was not well cleaned. They did give us a different room after the first night. Overall the property needs to be updated as it is worn down. The Wi-Fi sucked in both rooms we stayed in. Using the parking garage on site was a pain and we opted for street parking after the first night.

Great location, welcoming service
Perfect location to explore the city, good non touristy restaurants around the hotel. The area is residential but steps from the touristy area. Our room was spacious, nothing upper scale but just right. The internet wasn’t reliable, lots of times wouldn’t work, specially late night or in the mornings. Staff is so friendly, helpful and accommodating, if you ask for recommendations they will share so many good tips! Monica at the front desk was dear to us, she gave us so many tips on what to do and all recommendations were spot on including day driving trips. We didn’t like the breakfast, not freshest ingredients and poor presentation, but the waitress was very nice. Parking worked out well, they don’t have a lot of spaces but had availability for us, even let us keep the space until late on check out date. We were not recognized as gold hotels.com gold members, so no perks. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it.

Stylish hotel in central but quiet location. Staff were excellent - very friendly and any issues were addressed quickly and positively. Onsite parking a plus. A great choice for visiting the unique city of Palermo.

Staff especially Bruno were most helpful. We were given a room for disabled people on arrival so we asked for a room with a bath to save any embarrassment. We got this after two days. Hotel is well situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the city centre. Ample restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. .

The Wi-Fi at the hotel was poor. The Wi-Fi did not function for most of our stay and when we we were temporarily able to connect the connection was short lived. The staff tried to get it to function better by restarting the server but were unable to get it to function well.

A little worn eg threadbare carpet on stairs. WiFi signal weak in my room so was without for one day. Worth considering if you rely on WiFi. Breakfast satisfactory. Bathroom cramped. Area good for luxury shopping and although about 10 minutes from edge of old town, it is a little too far to pop back during the dat. Handy for airport bus. Pleasant and helpful staff on reception

Expensive for what you get
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Our biggest issue occurred on our second stay for 3 days. This hotel seems to book to large tour groups, which can make it noisy and crowded at times. When we were there, our air conditioning system would not work. The lady at the front desk informed me that the central heating/air system could only be heat OR air conditioning. And, since majority preferred heat, that is what it will remain set at. If I had known this, I would have NEVER booked this hotel. For over $300 a night, this is unacceptable. In order to try to stay cooler, we gave up our junior suite (without compensation) to stay in an area with less noise when the windows were open. Unfortunately, it was still too loud. Therefore, I lost 2 nights of good sleep because it was too hot in the room. The only other issue we had was that we told the housekeeper (in Italian) that we did not need anything and that the room did not need to be clean, but she came into the room anyway. The second time we told the housekeeper AND the front desk and she still went into the room. This hotel is a little bit run down and needs to be updated. The pictures online look really nice, but the hotel itself needs some updating.The location is a 20-25 minute walk from the main sites and most of the restaurants. After being there and travelling that distance multiple times in a day, I would have preferred a hotel closer.The breakfast was simply average.

This boutique hotel has 32 rooms. When a group books, it is a tailor-made one of maximum 10-12 rooms, as it was during your stay, so please consider “crowded” is always quite relative. Air conditioning was working, but the block where your room was situated was set on HEAT as most guests, coming from warm weather, found it too cold during the night. When you decided to stay in the deluxe room for the whole stay, instead of moving to the junior suite, you have shared with our Front Desk that you preferred that room because it had a balcony, but did not relate this to the air conditioning. As it was your choice, outside of a free-amendment window and you did not even mention compensation, we simply followed up with your request. We sincerely apologize for our cleaning ladies coming in the room in spite of having requested them not to – we’ll share your comment with our staff and make sure nothing like this happens again. As to the conditions of the property, I wish to highlight that our pictures sincerely represent the actual aspect of all rooms and areas, and that every detail is continuously checked and amended, so that the property is always in perfect conditions. While the historical area is at a 15 minute walk, please consider that many nice restaurants and wine bars are within a 5 minute reach, and that the property is in the middle of the shopping and entertainment district of the city. We are sorry whether you had different expectations about the area where the property is located. A bit far from city cener, but reasonable stay
Old building but well renovated. WiFi is not so stable. Far from Massimo Theater and other major sightseeing spots, so transportation by bus or if you are healthy enough on foot is essential. 24 hours open supermarket is walking distance and easy to buy drinks and snacks.
