“A lovely place to stay”
We stayed here in November, and the place was very quiet. The pool was still open for use though and the weather was great. Our room was clean, with a tv and mini bar. Overall the facilities were good, there was no bar at night but maybe this was because it was out of season. Really nice and quiet. The decor was a little dated, but that is the only downside. It was a 15 minute walk out of town, and only 10 euro in a taxi. I would go back here again, the breakfast was basic but nice, I don't think in general the italians eat a big breakfast. We loved the fact that you could have cake! The freshly squeezed orange juice was lovely. Friendly, helpful staff, what more could you ask for?
“Lovely views”
This was our second visit; we'd stayed back in April. More people this time round and a bit of 'end of season' fatigue. Just a bit disappointing - as it has been such a wonderful stay earlier in the year. One thing - it is INCREDIBLY difficult to find!
“very impressed”
Overall a great experience. It was our last stop in siciliy and by far the best. the staff were great, the rooms were very comfy, the pool and breakfast were also great. The hotel was located about 15minutes easy walk from the centre - but the shuttle service to the centre and beach was very convenient if you didn't want to walk. Even without the transfer the walk was very easy and quite pleasant so no big deal. The hotel beach was very good - plenty of comfy sunloungers and good facilities. We'd definitley go back and probably for longer than the 3 nights we were there.
“Fine Hotel in Taoromina”
Nice hotel. Friendly folks. We had a very nice room with a great view .
“A delightful experience as a gateway to Sicily!”
This hotel was magic. The accommodation and the proximity from the town made it a traveller's haven. We walked into town each day so we did not need to use our hire car but with onsite parking our minds were at ease that it was safe. The common areas all looked out to sea and I am sure that even in the height of summer this hotel would be a wonderful respite from sightseeing and the sun. The day begins with breakfast in a delightful dining room overlooking the terrace to the sea and then the restful and private facilities of a unit style room looking towards " the rock " from one's own balcony gives one a sense of tranquility and calm. A truly civilised and delightful stay.
“hard to find at night”
nice place but thin walls. Sound travels . But great view. Only 10 Min. walk to town or beach. They do have a shuttle.
“Would stay here again!”
Very nice hotel. Good typical breakfast with outdoor dining/sea views. Free shuttle bus into town or beach. Ample free parking. English speaking staff.
“5* luxury at 4* prices”
Our holiday was thoroughly enjoyable, made all the more so by the amazing Hotel Alberi del Paradiso. The hotel is situated about 20min walk away from the town centre, but if this short walk puts you off it shouldn't as it means you are well away from the hustle and traffic and set in beautiful mountain suroundings. The hotel also provide shuttle buses every few hrs to the beach/town so if you time things right there is no need to walk anyway. We opted for junior suite with sea view which meant a spacious roon, small terrace with table/chairs and a view down the mountain with sea in the distance. The B&B option provided a very tasty breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh bread, croissants, cereal, fresh fruit and beautifulm freshly squeezed fruit juices. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and I can't imagine there is anything better quality in Cefalu.

“Restful and indulgent”
We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the atmosphere and pampering at this hotel. It has some lovely outside spaces, and it was slightly out of season, which perhaps explains why there was always room around the pool, on the numerous terraces and around the bar. Having read previous reviews we were slightly concerned about the out of town location, but in fact, we enjoyed the 15 min walk (no problem if you're vaguely fit) and the other benefit was the peace at the hotel late at night and in the morning, unlike in Cefalu itself. The deluxe room was nice - maybe a little small and the bathroom a little tired for a 4 star hotel, but nothing major. The staff were charming and the breakfasts fun. If you want to use the private beach, make sure you ask for specific directions - it's not well-marked, so we walked up and down the promenade a few times without ever finding it!

Cefalu Coast, Italy: Rated one of Sicilys loveliest resorts, this ancient fishing village on the Tyrrhenian coast is deservedly popular. Buildings crowd a rocky shelf below the hill of La Rocca, on which towers Cefalùs Romanesque cathedral. Byzantine mosaics glitter within, a figure of Christ Pantocrator dominating the apse. Palms and ipalazzi/i line the square outside. King Rogers palace, a medieval washhouse and the Museo Mandralisca are worth a visit.
