“Good value for money”

Our room was very big and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning. We found some reception staff to be more helpful than others. The breakfast was pretty basic, but did the trick. A good hotel for the price, and a good location for getting about.

“Good location”

Great location. Business hotel. Not as welcoming as a boutique hotel stayed in Catania. Two females on duty together most helpful. One wake up call not given. Not told that breakfast had been changed to downstairs. A group of us waited outside ''usual'' place for 15 minutes. Changed to downstairs. Problem with communication. Missed bus as a result. Basic breakfast . No fresh fruit. Internet use at hotel more expensive than outside. Good internet place in Via Volturna and better computers. Despite this, still recommend hotel for location.

“A great choice”

The hotel is wonderfully situated for sightseeing in Palermo and getting in and out of the city. Nearby there is a very good choice of restaurants. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and varied and the staff were really obliging.

“Good value hotel”

Cristal Palace Hotel is centrally situated, close to the bus from the airport and within walking distance of most sites in the historic centre. Buses run right outside along the Via Roma. The hotel is well-maintained, clean and bright. The staff were courteous and helpful. Via Roma is busy so some rooms might be noisy - our room was on the side of the hotel so not too bad. Breakfast was plentiful with a reasonable selection. We enjoyed our stay.

“Good Hotel -Shame about the B'FASTS”

The Cristal Palace Hotel was well placed for walking and bus route to places of interest, much better than their info. implied. The only issue I would raise is the BREAKFASTS , lots of staff , giving NO eye contact, lots of choice of food, stale buns, and other bread and pastry goods, BUT the worst was the hot drinks, from a machine, all awful. cold drinks of poor quality too, overall, forget-able. The Management needs to question why they want to provide breakfast and then find out from guests what they would like to have provided, my own priority is to have a good cup of coffee with fresh hot milk available.
