“Great hotel. Hard to find at first, but once added to GPS no more problems.”

The hotel was great. The private beach turned out to be a roped off area on a public beach. The beach had a lot of rocks so I would recommend water shoes. The hotel had an outstanding lunch and breakfast on site. We did not try dinner, but I would bet it is top quality as well. We will return to this hotel the next time we go to Cefalu. The staff was very professional at all times. It was well worth the money.

“Nice hotel....but a little isolated.”

Have just returned from our trip, the only disavantage we found was that it was difficult to access the town of Cefalu unless you drove. The hotel was pleasant and staff helpful, did find it hard to communicate at times has there was limited English spoken. We were a little disappointed that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, being English we do like our tea. The food was fantastic, we ate at the hotel restaurant on four evenings and the food was of a high standard. We did hire a car but found it hard to find the beauty of Sicily, if we were to return we would go on excursions instead.

Having arrived too late to go out for dinner, we decided to eat at the hotel, I am very glad that we did, the food and the service were excellenr, so we ate there several times more during the holiday. Everyone was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay very comfortable. Would love to go back.

“Great stay”

The Baia del Capitano hotel was a very nice hotel with great beach facilities. The sandy beach is nice and clean. For the more adventurous, the rocky beach is spectacular! Make sure you take a stroll on the 3rd floor terrace at the hotel. The view at sunset is really beautiful.

L'hotel è molto bello, il personale qualificato, tutti i servizi impeccabili. Consigliato. L'unica nota non positiva può essere fatta per la distanza dal centro. Infatti dista 5 km dal centro di Cefalù che però può essere raggiunto con i mezzi pubblici o con taxi.

“Abseits gelegen, aber nett”

Wir waren zu dritt mit einem Kleinkind (2 Jahre) im Mai (Vorsaison!) für eine Woche hier. Das Zimmer war relativ klein, aber es gab einen kleinen Flur mit Schrank, aber es war leise. Nach unserer Anreise von Palermo waren wir im Verlauf sehr froh, einen Mietwagen gebucht zu haben. Es gibt zwar unter der Woche einen Bus nach Cefalu, aber mit Kind waren wir über die Mobilität sehr froh. Zum Laufen nach Cefalu ist es zu weit und abgelegen. Halbpension konnten wir nicht buchen, so dass wir nur Übernachtung und Frühstück hatten. Einmal haben wir uns ein Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant gegönnt, das ich als eher 'unaufregend' und mit 30 Euro pro Person zu teuer bewerten würde. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung und der Service war ok. An der Bar konnte man abends noch etwas drinken, falls man wie wir eher ans Zimmer gebunden war (Drinks in üblicher Preislage). Es gibt eine wunderschöne Dachterasse mit Blick auf Cefalu und einen ganz netten Pool. Wir haben nur einen Felsstrand gesehen, angeblich gibt es einen hoteleigenenen Sandstrand, aber das Wetter war leider zu kühl dafür. Das Hotel hat uns insgesamt soweit gut gefallen, es war sauber und man war bemüht um uns. Mit Kind zu reisen war hier ok (Hochstuhl vorhanden, Kinderbett +10 Euro pro Nacht, Kühlschrank im Zimmer), aber wir empfehlen unbedingt ein Auto vor Ort oder man investiert Einiges in ein Taxi.

“Coppia da Siracusa”

Personale davvero gentile e abbastanza disponibile, colazione a buffet classica non esagerata....... il Pranzo in giardino è veramente rilassante e particolare.......... L'unica delusione la spiaggia, siamo scesi e risaliti subito e se non ho visto male c'è pure il divieto di balneazione.... cmq ho risolto con la piscina sicuramente balneabile e soprattutto rilassante....... Per la mia esperianza posso anche consigliarlo

“4 amiche di Udine”

Abbiamo soggiornato al Baia del Capitano per una settimana nel mese di giugno 2010. ci siamo trovate molto bene; le camere sono spaziose,ben arredate e soprattutto molto pulite. la colazione non è granchè ma più che accettabile. molto curato e bello il giardino . la cosa che più ci ha favorevolmente colpito è stata la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale (tutto indistintamente),veramente bravi. un albergo nel quale torneresti volentieri.
