Large rooms, excellent bed and very pleasant service. Some background noise, unclear if it was the nearby street construction, the AC or both.
This hotel is located in a 'trendy' neighborhood. But many international travelers might think the area (not the hotel) is a bit run down. It was within walking distance (15 minutes) from the La Rural convention Center and the walk is via a busy and safe street.
If you are mainly here to sight see, the excellent hop-on hop-off Yellow Bus is at least a 20 minute walk.

We broke up a trip with an overnight stay in Buenos Aires and I looked for hotels with good ratings and free internet below $125.00 a night and this hotel came up in the list. As we know the city we knew this is a great area to stay and the hotel lived up to our expectations, from the very warm welcome the room and great breakfast. This has been added to my top favorite hotels and the only bad thing was it was just for one night. If you like to complain about something this is not the hotel for you
We had a great time! I had wanted a hot tub and the pics said there was a spa, but it was not heated. I used the jetted tub in the bathroom--it took a long time to fill and got cold, but it was an okay compromise to a hot tub! My daughter was sick for two of our 5 days and so we stayed in the room and watched netflix on our laptop. Our room was a great place to be when you can't get out into the city. We ate breakfast every day which was great and included eggs which is hard to find in South America.
I had a great experience with home hotel, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The staff were attentive, polite and so helpful. I had an exceptional experience, and If I ever return to Buenos Aires I would not hesitate to stay again. Thoroughly recommended.
Buenos Aires’ largest neighborhood was once home to Jorge Luis Borges and Che Guevara. Today, it is where the well heeled shop and socialize—one part is nicknamed Palermo Hollywood. Palermo exudes European charm with its palatial homes, cobblestone streets, and well-manicured parks. Plaza Italia, the botanical gardens, and zoo are among its highlights. Jorge Newbery regional airport is nearby.
