What struck me the most is how genuinely friendly the staff is. This is a place where everyone gets special treatment (without the fake "hello, ma'am/sir" niceties) and it is generally a good place to be relax (think hammocks and chirping birds).
It's a 15-minute drive from the airport, which is just far enough from the "busy" goings-on on the main streets. The resort has a van that will take you to the town any time of the day, free of charge. They serve hearty all-day breakfast meals and there's free refreshments in the dining area.
Overall an excellent stay and would definitely book another stay if I ever find myself in PP again.
If you live in a city and have had the easy life and just want to get away from reality for a time, this is the place for you. Set on a beautiful palm covered beach about 20 miles off the paved road you will find Palm Bay Resort. So leave your dress shoes and high heals at home and bring your boots and sandals.
My wife and I stayed at La Nature for week in November 2013 and were pleasantly surprised. It was right after the Haiyan Typhoon, but the disaster did not hold the hotel staff back from giving us their best service. The facilities is out of town which was a great break from the city of Coron. La Natura is perfectly kept and has tree houses, a massage hut, and the best food we've had in all of Asia. The service is great and all the amenities at the resort are affordable. Wendy is the absolutely best service person we ever had in our lives. She is genuinely nice and pays attention to every detail.
The only suggestion we had was to get AC units for the rooms as it is quite hot. They do have a ceiling fan so it wasnt too bad.
You must stay here if you go to Coron. Best resort in every way on the island!

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They provide airport pickup and welcome drinks and always very helpful and willing to offer suggestions and go out of their way to make your stay nice. The only thing I had a problem with was that it was a bit noisy. The hotel is under renovation so the hammering was right outside our window, but luckily we stayed on the weekend/holiday so didn't need to tolerate it much. Also, it isn't a very loud hotel, but there was one group that was quite loud at 6am and because of the layout of the hotel, very open, you can hear people even on the 1st/2nd floor if they're loud enough. It wasn't so bad though and I'd stay here again and it was far better than other hotels we passed by. If you are elderly or have small children, request a room on the 2nd floor as it might be tiring to stay on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the restobar is a comfortable place to hang out. Wifi only works in the common area but they have a lounge where you can sit and use it. I would recommend it to others. Also, the location is pretty good. Not too close to noise/airport, but close enough to walk to Rizal Ave.
