Just returned from 5 nights at Princess Heights; great location and view with a fantastic staff. Room had a large kitchen and living area with TV. Included a queen sofa bed and another foldout single bed from a large chair. neither of which we used. Large separate bedroom, also with TV, made the king bed look small. Deck overlooking the Caribbean accomodated a large table with six chairs; great view . Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, silverware, utensils, glassware, etc. Many reasonable restaurants nearby in Oyster Pond but a rental car is necessary. Princess Heights is adjacent to the Westin, who allow guests to use one end of their beach but not their chairs or pool. Princess Heights rents chairs and umbrellas (less than $15 for 2 lightweight chairs and an umbrella) to take to that beach if you prefer not to use their own rather small pool area. Nothing but good things to say about the staff, especially Lars. They were on top of everything.
Had an amazing two night stay pre time share week stay at another resort. But this is very pleasing to your sense's. the views are amazing from the infinity pool. They had free samples of wine and champagne. There are a few bars and restaurant's within walking distance.

We stayed at marina view end unit 15. Spacious! You get 2 BR and 2 floors (21 steps up), private patios overlooking marina on both floors. We enjoyed the patio views and visitors (birds, iguanas). Gated parking, though tight. Five restaurants and pizza place a short walk. Dawn Beach is a short walk thru Mr. Busby's Beach Bar. We rented two beach chairs and umbrella combo for $12/day. The shore during our stay was piled with seaweed, and much also was suspended in the water. We could still get in for a swim in areas relatively weed-free. Though snorkeling can be done, the surf was too rough for us to try it. We did visit Islet Pinel and took Aqua Mania trips to Shoal Bay, Anguilla, and to Saba; these were enjoyable and worthwhile. You need a car (or hire a taxi) as there's no hotel pick-up. We also toured Philipsburg and Marigot; other than looking for beaches or restaurants, there didn't seem to be much outside of the capitals.
