Great food and service
A really nice clean room. Friendly owners, family run business. Food was absolutely fantastic, both evening meals and breakfasts very good quality and excellent taste. Really nice location.

2 night stay at La Fontona
Was at a golf event just down the road . La Fontona was a great place to stay , clean , staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent & plenty of parking spaces

Stayed for 2 nights, was nice looking family business but unfortunately will not be returning. Most of staff especially early breakfast staff very lovely and accomodating. Facilities: Loads of random pillows were unnecessary, great shower facilities, kettle with limescale needs replacing. TV tiny. Food: Average food, big menu for small restaurant. Price is fair but would probably expect more. Overall: Not for us but not bad for the price relative to most in the area.

A surprisingly good hotel
Lovely large room. Almost perfect apart from a couple of small problems. TV remote didn't fully work so made it difficult to change channels and the height and location of the plug sockets, all being low and behind furniture which made it difficult to plug in iron and phone charger. Food was excellent and served very quickly. Highly recommended

They had a function on but didn’t tell us so couldn’t get any food and not even a drink and disco blaring away till gone 11pm when had our son with us not impressed as didn’t get a warning or anything

Was ok, until the 2nd night where they didn’t let us no there was a function on so couldn’t get food or even a drink and the staff couldn’t of seemed to care, and the disco going on really loud till gone 11pm so didn’t get to sleep to late and had our son with us

Really enjoyable stay! Lovely family owners and staff. Very comfortable bed and very clean. Food in the restaurant was fabulous! Great choice. Nicest pizza I have had. Will find a reason to come back.

Great hotel with amazing restaurant
The room was nice bathroom very large and good quality. Staff very friendly and helpful.The best thing of all was the meal in the restaurant it was amazing, best Italian food we have had for years. This is funny as we have just come back from south Italy. Very good value for money too.

We have driven past La Fontana many times so knew its location. I was looking for a place to stay at Witney but they were all expensive so I widened my search. I came upon La Fontana and the price was reasonable and included breakfast. My wife was delighted with our room and we enjoyed dining in the restaurant. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was dated, no guestbook in the room. More attention to detail needed when cleaning. WiFi was also poor compared to other rooms I’ve stayed in at the property. Not the most pleasant stay.

La Fontana Italian Restaurant With Rooms
Nice, clean, spacious room with king sized bed. Very good Italian food in the restaurant and good full English breakfast in the morning. Only negative point was bathroom had a Jacuzzi bath but no shower and I would have preferred a shower, but that was only a minor inconvenience.
