“Impressed”

Superb.......... our stay was comfortable, staff were friendly food was good. No complaints.

“A good hotel”

Spent 2 nights at this hotel as a base for walking in the area. Whilst the rooms were a good standard and the breakfasts very good it is the staff that make the difference, the staff at this hotel could not have done more.

“Lovely breakfast”

Only needed a room for one night to celebrate a family members 60th birthday. Only complaint was the hardness of the pillows everything else was very good

“Location, location...”

Stayed for just one night at this comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly, albeit a little disorganised at breakfast when some food items ran out and no staff person seemed to notice. The 'Connoisseur' room was comfortable and the complimentary water and wine was a nice touch. Breakfast was good for the bacon and egg brigade, but there were no real options for the continental fan. Did not eat an evening meal so cannot comment on that aspect.Location is the main feature, being easy to find just off the A34, so ideal to break a north to south journey (or vice versa) , for visiting the Cotswolds or in our case for a trip to explore Oxford. Recommended for a good value stay.
