“Was near perfect for us!”

We got a room last minute at this location for a National show that was in that town! Most of the rooms had been sold out months before! The room was exactly what we needed and we LOVE to stay at AMERICINN's and choose them over any other motel, if we can and it was located just down teh street from our show! Breakfast was very good and plentiful and popcorn and cookies and hot drinks available in the evening!! Nice room, enough towels/pillows/hot water, nice clerks, we ended up staying a 2nd night we liked it so well! We would recommend to anyone passing this way! Only downfalls would be not enough parking for vehicles with travel trailers or large trailers (like us, we had to park across the street) and the pool was a little cold for recreational swimming.

“Excellent hotel!”

The AmericInn Albert Lea is great in every way, room cost was reasonable and the location is right off the highway. Rooms were comfortable and the pool is of a decent size for children. Their continental breakfast was also one of the better ones I've had!

“Unforgivably incompetent management”

We stayed 2 nites. The second there was a storm-caused power outage at 9PM, which lasted through checkout the next day. At checkout I requested a 50% discount for one nite due to: no TV; no hot water in the AM; no Breakfast. My wife reallly liked puting her makeup on in the dark. At checkout, the manager WAS NOT on site to deal with dissatified customers, despite their obvious problem. I have since three times e-mailed the hotel (again requesting the 50% discount), each time copying the Americinn Corporate office. A month later, I have heard nothing from the hotel, and corporate has only forwarded my complaint on to the Albert Lea location, with no further follow-up. Basically, I find their ignoring this matter shocking, and cannot understand how they can treat customers with such disregard. Americinn has seen the last of my business!
