“Very nice hotel - an excellent value in Oviedo”
If you are taking the Renfe train to Oviedo, there is no more convenient hotel than the AC Forum. It's just a matter of steps away from the station. Very nicely appointed lobby and room with helpful staff. Our room was a bit small, but nevertheless comfortable, with a great view of Oviedo from our window. Would definitely stay here again.
“Clean, Stylish, Convenient Hotel in Oviedo”
AC Forum is conveniently located between the train and bus station in Oviedo. You may be thinking that this would equal dirty and cut rate for weary travellers, but it's the exact opposite! We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean stylish place to rest our heads. We were only there for one night, but hi-lights include: computers in the lobby for guest use, large bathrooms (ie: full tub and shower), spacious and clean rooms! Francisco at the front desk is incredibly helpful and speaks english well for non-spanish speakers. You are within walking distance of the gothic cathedral for history lovers, an enormous clean park for nature lovers, and tons of great shopping for well, those of us that like to shop! For American travellers if by chance you are missing McDonalds one of those is within walking distance too.
“excellent location”
The hotel is located close to the main shopping areas and is approximately 15 minutes walk to the "old town" and cathedral. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within a similar walking distance. The hotel is adjacent to the train and bus station. We hired a car for this trip at Asturias Airport and the parking in Oviedo was very convenient. There is a public, 24 hour car park underneath the hotel and the hotel can offer a daily rate for parking (arranged at Reception on check-in). The recepton staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast offered an adequate selection each morning. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. We would definitely stay there again.
