Pleasant stay.

Posted 27-Jul-2014
Pros: The location could not have been better.
Cons: I was on ground level but I could see where it could be a challenge for some folks to get to the third story with luggage and 2 flight of steps.
Location: Close to the beach and shopping
Took a chance as it was only a two night stay. I found the hotel to be updated and clean and will stay again.

For the price, a nice hotel close to the Jenrette

Posted 23-Jul-2014
Pros: Location
Across the street form the Jenrette Pier with public access to the beach. Dogs are permitted on the beach which was plus. Small clean cabin with efficiency items.

Gets the job done

Way cheap. Nice clean room. New mattress? Nice staff. Could pay a lot more for worse.....oh....and your dog is welcome. Was skeptical because it was so cheap.....perfect for what it is. Not a luxury hotel by any stretch, but a bargain for the price and location.

Budget room close to the pier and beach

Posted 26-Jun-2014
Pros: Budget price. Location across the street from fishing pier, beach and a good restaurant next door.
Location: Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Kitty Hawk, etc.
If you are looking for a budget-priced room with just the basics, this is an OK place to stay. The rooms are small, clean but dated. Limited outlets to plug in phone chargers, laptops, etc. The restaurant next door (Mike and Omie's) is very good.

Location: Right across the street from the beach!
Cozy room, bit small but comfortable. Fully functional kitchenette, complete with all dishes. Clean, overall a friendly staff.

Rooms were very clean! Front desk staff was very helpful! Easy to find and close to the beach!! Will use this hotel again! We only stayed one night as we were just passing through. The price was cheap for the area and the rooms were very clean! A++++ given to the housekeeping at the hotel!!!!!!!!!!

Great Weekend Getaway!

Posted 22-Apr-2014
Pros: Location, Great restaurant beside the motel called Sam and Omies! Great people and food!
Cons: Bedding
Location: If you are wanting to explore the entire outer banks, this motel is generally in the middle....as much as it can be.
My wife and I went down for a long weekend getaway. I had never been to the outer banks so I was excited about the trip. Overall, the hotel was in great shape. We stayed in one of the "condos" beside the motel. It was small but did was a full efficiency which I did not read in the the description. The shower was a "standup" only shower which was fine. The condition of everything at the motel was great other than the bed. We did not say anything to management so shame on us. Other than that, I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

okay, but noisy

Posted 12-Nov-2013
Pros: price
Sounded like a basketball game in the room above me. Also lots of noise outside. Seems like a thinly constructed building. Stairway was also creaky and bothersome when trying to go to sleep early.
