spring break

Pros: the hotel is being updated an have good prices for rooms
Cons: our water was cold in the shower a few days. and the food is a little pricy
Location: we were right on the ocean off the main rd so traffic wasn't a problem. there is a lot of things to do in the off season and no crowds to fight!
my kids(4&8) and I stayed here the last week of may-april6. the weather was in the 50s-60s. the hotel pool was a big hit! also Sabrina the bird at the front desk! We stayed on the 5th floor oceanfront. it was amazing views. we would stay here again! Ganeiva one of the hotel staff was a very big help and very friendly!

Clean, newer and great for pets

We stayed only one night during mid week on April 16, 2015. The rooms were clean and appeared updated with nice carpet, paint and bedding. We stayed here due to the fact that they allowed pets. The room opened up onto the dunes with the ocean on the other side. It was a wonderful experience. There were plenty of towels also.

Great value...Great location

My family traveled for a quick weekend getaway and this hotel was the perfect choice. Though it wasn't the most fancy-smancy place, it was very clean, very comfortable, and equipped with all we needed- fridge, microwave, hairdryer, etc. Most importantly, it's on a beautiful beach! They have an onsite restaurant for breakfast and dinner/eentertainment as well. Our only problem was no hot water for showers, but staff was very helpful and accommodating while they worked to fix the problem. This hotel is definitely a win! We'll be making a return trip!

Worst vacation ever!

When I was checking in I should have known. A slew of loud revelers poured into the lobby and out the door. Room was clean, then we immediately started hearing liquid pouring onto the balcony above. It was dark so we weren't concerned, that morning still liquids pouring. It was buckets full, not from the air conditioner, quite disgusting. Sounded like acrobats above us all night. The entire front of the hotel was like a party zone, ppl hanging from their balconies with loud music. The next night, false fire alarms sounded for hours, all night. Isn't the point of a hotel to be able to rest, not here. It was simply horrible! I will never return!

Although we are grateful for having you stay with us we are disheartened to hear that other customers did not show you the proper consideration. We are extremely sorry that the neighboring guests disturbed you during your time with us as that is not the experience we want our guests to have. Hotel security makes every attempt to minimize situations like this and it’s unfortunate that the other guests were selfish and did not regard others. We appreciate the feedback and do hope you will come back again as that occurrence is unusual for our hotel.

They seemed short-staffed

Pros: Good location.
Cons: Hire more cleaning staff so customers can go out for the day, and come back to a clean room, not one that the maids had not reached yet.
Location: Close to the Wright Brothers' Memorial...a very interesting place to visit.
I am not sure why, when I came back to my room around 4:30 pm, it still had not been cleaned. Perhaps they should have had more staff on duty. Certainly, there are plenty of people needing employment. There is an indoor heated pool, and the hotel supplies towels. However, the second time I went down to the pool, there were no towels left. I was thankful I had brought my own towel, although I almost didn't, since I knew they provided them (at least usually).

Nice, place to stay

Nice place to stay but the only bad experience was the pool water and the spa water chemicals where not properly mix or something after me and my kids came out my vision was blurry and my eyes and my kids eyes hurt, so I went to the pharmacy to get some eye wash, and that did it after awhile, needless to say I did not go back in the pool.

Pros: Not much. Felt like I was in a 1970's, Ocean City, MD hotel... not a Ramada Inn quality hotel.
Cons: The drop down ceiling tiles in the room and bath were filthy. Boardwalk to beach and pool area is an eyesore.
Room smelled like rotten crab; had to keep the balcony door open to vent. The ocean view balcony looked out on the beach, but directly below was a cesspool of debris and garbage that looked as though a contractor had failed to clean up after work.

Poor upkeep

Our room was never cleaned or refreshed on the second day of our stay. Also had to take a cold shower on our last morning there.

the view of the ocean was nice.

I expected a lot more from a Ramada Inn. Rooms were just average and the bathrooms were very old in appearance. I would not book a room at this location again.
