Disappointment weekend

Pros: It was on the water.
Cons: Motel should be updated and if you are not going to get a bay view, you should be told.
Location: Centrally located at 158 and 12, makes it easy to go in either direction.
We were expecting a bayview and only saw the parking lot. The room was small, but ok; however there was caked dirt on the dresser,and rust all over the shower head. Constanly heard the traffic going by.

Great for a large group. Once master bedroom (queen bed) with a private bathroom. Another bathroom with a jacuzzi and a stand up shower. Living room with a king bed and a sofa bed. Fridge, sink, coffee maker, and a microwave. Kitchen utensils, plates and cups.

Great view good room

Please remember you are not checking in to the hilton. The room was very nice, bathroom is not well maintained one draw back. Sheets,towels and room was clean and well kept. Good frig no staff except check in, she was helpful. Would stay again, good for a short visit bring your own soap and shampoos. Barbecue available outside. Dog friendly

I was only looking for pet friendly, but loved this hotel! Quiet location, on the sound, with room to house and walk my Great Dane pup! Caught crabs from the back deck, and even saw a dolphin swimming one morning!

Pros: Everything that they advertised was what you got.
Cons: A way of blocking out the sound late at time of the traffic (once you turned the tv off) on the road/
Location: Plenty to do in Nags Head, Manteo, Kill Devil Hills area. Great restaurants. Visit Austin Fishmarket for great seafood for lunch. Great prices.
Enjoyed my stay. Motel quiet. Pet friendly. Overlook the marina on 1 side Near the bridge to fish (if you'd brought fishing equipment), nearby Jennette Pier for great swimming.

Pleasant surprise

This was our first time to the OBX area. This motel was perfect for our family. No bells and whistles. Practical for our needs. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a small stove or hot plate in our room as we prefer to cook most of our own meals while on vacation.

Pros: Practically everything.
Cons: Wifi quality.
Room is like a time share hotel, I think. You get a two room area with two bathrooms. There's a kitchenette, a jetted tub, two showers, and an amazing view of the Roanoake Sound. On top of it all, this place is in prime location to all of the beach activities! If there was anything wrong with this place, the wifi isn't that great.

Isolated but we loved it.

Pros: Location. Rear deck on the water. Dog friendly. Spacious room with full complement of appliances.
Cons: Stairs to second floor were steep.
Location: Close enough to Naggs Head to take advantage of beach & other recreation opportunities, but far enough away to avoid the worst of the traffic.
One night stay, wanting a little r&r before traveling elsewhere to a family gathering. It seemed clean, was comfortable and we were very pleased with the whole experience. Not for the raucous Nagshead crowd...just the was we like it.

no one was there to greet us when we arrived to the hotel. we were told when we book the rooms that it they would have a sofa in each room as well and it did not so two guest had t sleep on the floor the web sites shows two beds and a sofa in the room and I called to check on it but and was told it had the sofa in the room and that each room would sleep 3 people .
