Our stay was great! The bed and pillows were very comfy and clean! The breakfast was a great way to start the day. Would absolutely stay here again!

Disappointing

Cons: Need comfortable chairs in the room and exhaust fan in bathroom
Location: Beach, Lost Colony, Hang Gliding, Lighthouse, Acquarium, Kitty Hawk
Uncomfortable chairs in room. Bath unusually small...no exhaust fan. The hotel was advertised as ocean front, which it was, but I was not told my room would be overlooking a parking lot. After my complaints it was changed to an ocean front room with a sand dune higher than the windows. Couldn't see anything. Finally, after complaining to the manager, I got a room that was satisfactory. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN I BOOKED THE ROOM IT WAS NOT OCEAN FRONT.

I wish the rooms and bed/sheets were clean. Sheets and bed smelled. I was not sure the carpet in the room, bed, and sheets were cleaned

Decent Hotel on Beach

Good location, beach view, breakfast included, free Wi-Fi, pool, and nice staff. Building is older with slow elevator, but decent amenities. Only drawback was our room wasn't cleaned up one day since we stayed there several days - the only disappointment.

Booked a king room, got a double

To start, the hotel gave us a double room instead of my king, they said expedia overbooked the king rooms. There was another lady complaining because she paid for a ocean view, first and maybe second floor is not ocean view, you are staring at a dune and wall. Hotel was dirty, toothpaste on the faucet and hair in the shower. The access doors lock was broken and replaced by a flimsy slide lock. The elevators take forever and you have to switch to get to the ground floor. Parking lot is tiny and had to park across the street once. The only positive thing was the AC and fridge worked good, other than that, it was a horrible experience.

Comfort Inn Nags Head

Cons: Elevator was slow..
Location: Beach, shop, eat the worlds best seafood.
Great all the way around. Pool was clean, deck area clean, room and all was great.
