“Waterpark”
The waterpark is fun for the kids and easy for the adults
“Stay was ok but nothing to write home about.”
The Hotel was conveniently located next to the Hwy 417. The room was clean and neat upon arrival and was made up everyday. But, Finally had to ask the front desk to have my garbaged emptied after the third day as no one was emptying trash can which was over flowing.
“Terrible”
THey had horrible customer service, the only good thing was the pool and that is only openned 4 hours a day,. would never recommend this hotel to anyone. michelle
“Will not be Returning !!!!”
I was quite surprised at this hotel !!! I think the hotel is very old and needs some serious ugrading !!! when I checked the bed I found the matresses and box springs to be very stained...I just was not happy with the hotel at all, there was also construction in front of the hotel that prevented us from entering the hotel from the main rd we had to off rd to get in ...We do not recommend this hotel . Be cautious when booking this hotel online as well because you can not cancel ....your money will be gone .....What ever you do beware of the pool and hot tub the chlorine levels were over the top way out of wack ..!!!
“bed was not that comfortable- My wife's opinion”
My wife said the bed was not that comfortable. I didn't notice because I could fall asleep on a bed of nails. I have no complaints, but my wife thinks negatively about everything. I, on the other hand, think that the room was fine and so was the bed. If my wife reads this review I may be sleeping on the floor from now on, but it serves her right because it's taken me 15 minutes to type this. I don't type well.
“Pretty Standard”
There were a bunch of young hockey players but overall things were quite good.
“Needs serious work”
I'm sure a nice place thirty years ago but the rooms and carpets have seen much better times. It's down around Motel 66 grade.
“Travelodge Ottawa”
The hotel was "functional" and provided basic necessities of a hotel - reception, room, service, etc. However, the reception staff seemed unfriendly and not a lot of help. They had no local maps - we got one free from the Best Western down the road. They could not provide GPS addresses for things like Parliament Hill. The restaurant staff were "there" for their convenience. We often had to wait for long periods to refresh drinks or even get started. The gift shop seemed to open when they wanted - mostly when we were not around. We were not allowed to carry our drinks from the bar to our room. We were told once this was hotel policy, and on a second occasion that it was an Ontario law that they were not licensed for liquor in the hallways. A consistent reason might have been more acceptable. The water park that was highly publicised was not always open when advertised.
“DO NOT GO !”
I was there for three nights and made two noise complaints one at 0230 and the other at 0330 on two separate nights. They rent rooms to far too many young partyers who have no respect for others
“Try to find something else if you can”
This was disappointing to say the least. No welcome given the lady at the front desk seemed like she couldn't be bothered. The room was clean but our view was the roof and A/C vents. Something was out of order all the time for the 4 days we were there. From the ice machines you had to go downstairs across the hotel and down some more stairs to what the front desk said was the only working ice machine right next to the out of order sign on the soft drink machine. Then there was the advertised water park which was one of the reasons we chose this so our grandchildren could enjoy, ah but the last 2 days the wave pool was you guessed it out of order! Then the last straw was the lighting in the parking garage and entire parking area did not work we were left to find our car in the pitch dark. When we told the front desk about it, the young man replied yea someone else told me about that. I would never recommend this to anyone!
