“happy camper”

"Impressed. Nice hotel, big halls, nice clean rooms, very little noise. Free breakfast at the Risotto, good. Decor great. The hotel had a nice elegant feeling to it. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Gatineau.

“When you pay low rates, you gotta take the bad with the good”

This hotel will suit travellers who wish to stay in the Ottawa/Gatineau area at a low price with breakfast thrown in and aren't too fussy about decor and interior design. I had the strangest room I have ever stayed at in a North American hotel, which wasn't such a big deal as I didn't plan to spend a lot of time there. The room was huge, had no carpeting and weirdly located switches, a double Murphy bed (and a space where a King size bed probably once stood), a "fireplace" which gave off no heat but had a lit up picture of flames, a television which was angled so it was difficult to watch it in bed, no proper reading lamp next to the bed (just two halogen lamps in the top recess of the Murphy bed frame), a shower head set in the wall at a height appropriate if you're under 5'5" at one end of a triangular bathtub which probably should have been a whirlpool but didn't have any jets. That said, the room was clean, the towels and hot water plentiful and the wait staff in the restaurant extremely pleasant. The breakfast was varied and offered both hot and cold selections. The desk staff gave me the wrong room number and I had to walk the entire length of the hotel to rectify the mistake, and were apologetic for the error. If you like tons of exercise, a room you could hold a bonspiel in, a low room rate, and a hotel wedged in between a highway off ramp, a strip mall and industrial park, with a casino on the other side then you'll love the Ramada Plaza Manoir du Casino.

A ten minute drive from the Byward Market in Ottawa, five minutes from the Museum of Civilization and the National Gallery, five minutes from Gatineau Park.

“AVERAGE ROOM GOOD SERVICE CONVENIENT LOCATION”

Stayed 4 nights. Booked through Expedia unpublished rates. So breakfast tokens were given only for adults not for the children.

“If you wanna stay in hull.....”

“Top notch hotel”

This hotel is rated as a first class hotel. The service was wonderful, the hotel lobby and the room was comparable to Hilton or Hyatt. The breakfast had so many different choices, plenty and it was complimentary. The location of the hotel was so strategic, it was a walking distance to the casino and only 15-20 mins to downtown Ottawa by bus. I will stay here again for sure in the future. Ps, check the bathroom, it is spacious and the tiles look new and shiny and the tub is a jacuzzi type .....

“definately will go back next time”

There were 5 people for us in total for this vacation, and we got the bi-level suit in Ramada. Everything was so perfect, services right there were excellent.

“Very satisfied”

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Casino Lac Leamy. Our room was clean and well appointed with a most comfortable king bed with quality bedding. The breakfast next morning was good and the service was excellent. We would return to this hotel.

“Comfortable, friendly, low key”

Staff was very helpful and informative and had a number of suggestions to offer. The room was bright and comfy. The breakfast offered a wide assortment of foods for all to enjoy. Nice fireflace in the room. Check-in was quick! I would stay there again. Good location to casino lac lemay. Close to a large grocery store if staying for a longer period.
