“Nice. Newly Remodeled. Comfortable.”

“great stay in nice area”

Our stay was only overnight, but have stayed in this area before. We found this hotel by price but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very freindly and helpful. Hotel was very clean: rooms, pool, dining area. We will stay again.

Area recommendations

Starved Rock is beautiful park as is Matthieson. The mall and theater are close by if the weather does cooperate.

“Will go back anytime, but south side room only!!”

Have worked in that area several times in the past four years. Usually stayed at Econo, sometimes at Fairfield. Decided to try La Quinta. Very satisfied. Good breakfast. But, if you have a room on the north side facing the Interstate (150 ft away), truck noise will keep you awake. I wish the HVAC features could be over-riden so the fan could run all the time and mask the outside noise. But not so. Get a room on the south side!!!

Area recommendations

Peru or La Salle is all good. Many fine places to eat and relax.

“We'll be back”

Our weekend to explore Starved Rock State Park was too rainy. All was not lost, though, because we had a pleasant place to come to and get out of the rain. We enjoyed a whirlpool and a swim and proximity to many restaurants. We'll be back on a sunnier weekend.

“Very comfortable place in the Illinois Valley”

This was a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good.

“Over-nighter off the interstate”

Comfortable clean room was an oasis in a endless field of cornfields. Good selection for an affordable meal nearby. Given the choices for a stop over in Peru, I feel it was a safe chioce.

“Great Stay with Family”

We had to be in town for my Mother-in-Law's sisters funeral. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating. If we ever have to visit family in the area agian we will be making reservations. Thanks for making a difficult time for us comfortable.
