“Good value for the quality”

We stayed just the one night prior to a meeting we had in Ottawa. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the room very nice. The room decor was very 'Ikea'ish was was a good thing. I would definitely stay here again.

“Great place for an early morning jog”

Classic hotal, great location, clean,modern overall good service. Only down point, the maids are eager to clean up the rooms, make sure to post your DND sign on the door if you want extra time.

“Pretty Good”

Spent 1st night in room beside ice machine (very little sleep) but hotel staff were kind and apologetic, thoughtfully moved us to an upgraded room for the following night. We appreciated the close proximity to the Alexandra Bridge, enjoying the 15 minute stroll across the bridge to the Byward Market and other Ottawa attractions.

Byward Market, Dalhousie St. Nice shops, restaurants, cafes, interesting architecture.

Outdoors or beach

Gatineau Park is a jewel for the Ottawa/Gatineau area. So many hikes accessible within a short drive/bike ride from the city. Pink Lake circuit is a lovely 2.3 km walk around the lake (some challenging terrain but frequent lovely vistas of the emerald coloured lake). Feels like the wild serenity of Temagami or Algonquin but you can't believe your luck when it's only taken 15 minutes to get there instead of 3+ hours. Don't take it for granted Ottawa/Gatineau.

“Not close enough to Ottawa”

I chose this hotel because it was affordable and "close" to Ottawa. I thought I could walk across the bridge to Ottawa. I could, but it was more out of the way than I had planned on. It is a great location for Gatineau though. The hotel seemed a little older, but maintained fine enough for me. I would only stay at this hotel again if I wanted to stay in Gatineau or if everything in Ottawa was already booked.

“very good hotel”

I spent one night in this hotel in Gatineau, it is nice one, the room was great there was not enough towels in the bath but after we asked for some, the room services brought us many of them i did not try the restaurant .

“Excellent service”

Location is good, walking distance from Ottawa (via Alexandra Bridge). Service is excellent.
