“There are better options”

Hotel location is OK, with many attractions within walking distance. However, you can find better hotels in the same street where this hotel is located.

“Comfy and Friendly Staff”

The staff was very helpful, and the room was clean and comfy. I loved the kitchenette since my son is a picky eater. It is very close to the sites and a good time was had by all. You should try this place!

“Good Value for the Money in a Great Location”

I found the hotel to be a good value for the money in a very central location to many of the tourist sites, and within an easy walking distance to Parliment Hill and Merche By. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel had a nice bohemian feel to it and there were plenty of bars and restaurants just off Elgin, that were within an easy walking distance, as well. I only needed a taxi to get to the airport, which cost C$35 with the tip. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the rooms and the hallways were in need of some updating. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again, on my next trip to Ottawa.

“Adequate for longer term business travel”

The suite had a well stocked kitchenette, including utensils, flatware and cooking implements, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small, but the rest of the room was quite large. Location downtown was great, providing quick access to highway as well as along the canal. The room was kept decently clean, but could have used a "good scrubbing". Nothing horrible, just not as clean as I would have preferred.

“Ottawa review”

Hotel room did not have pen/paper, it should have been. I was told that toileterries will be provided upon request, this should be done without request. Phone in the room was not working, I did not complain as the one in lounge was working. Else everything was good and reasonable.

Area recommendations

I did not had the time/chance to see the city.
