“Oslo Hotel”

The location of this hotel was excellent. Right in the middle of the downtown area close to shops, restaurants, train, bus etc. Very clean room and hotel. Rooms are small, but quite adequate for my needs.

Area recommendations
Beautiful and vibrant city. Very well laid out for walking and exploring. Lots of shopping centers and very good public transit system

“Too expensive for me without Expedia deal”

With the deal we got through Expedia the hotel was a great deal. We tried to book an extra night but it would have cost us 3x as much without going through expedia again. The free breakfast in the morning is what really separated this hotel from others. It had everything plus options to make sandwiches which we packed away for our lunches!

Area recommendations
We were there for the middle of August and the water front area of Oslo was breathtakingly beautiful in the early mornings and bustling with life in the afternoons and evenings.

“Great location in Oslo”

This hotel was very close to the central bus and train stations and city center. The staff was very helpful in meeting my specific needs and the breakfast buffet was very generous. Hotel was also "family friendly."

Area recommendations
In and around Bygdoynes you can see the Nosk Folkemuseum, Kon-Tiki Museum, the Frammuseet (dedicated to the polar ship Fram) and the Vikingskipshust (Viking Ship Museum) all very close to each other and a great opportunity to learn more about theses hardy Norwegien explorers. Then hop the ferry back to city center and catch the Noble Peace Prize Museum.
Getting around
If you're going to be in Oslo for more than 24 hours, then purchasing the "Oslo Pass" is worth it. It allows you entrance to museums and use of public transporation and the guide provided discribes the events and locations and what bus or trolly you need to take to get there. We bought the 48 hour pass and it paid for itself half way through the first day. The pass is available at the tourist information center in center city, near the train station.

“great stay for for a great price”

The room and bathroom were tiny, but the bed was comfy. The breakfast was great!! (I'm a very picky eater but there was plenty to choose from!) Everything was clean and in good repair. Great location! Very close to the central station, transportation lines, and shopping.

“excellent rapport qualité prix”

hotel confortable, très propre,bonne literie, grande chambre, grand buffet petit déjeuner inclus, proche de la gare et du centre ville:parfait pour un grand week end.

Area recommendations
ensuite, prendre le train pour Bergen: le voyage est magnifique. Puis deux jours à Bergen.

“guter ausgangspunkt”

ein sehr gut gelegenes hotel zum erkunden von oslo, freundliches personal free internet und free coffee in der lobby, und ein frühstück das alles hat auch eine sehr gute auswahl an guten brot, per fussmarsch sind viele sehenswürdigkeiten leicht erriechbar, auffallend ist auch die kinderfreudlichkeit der hotelgestaltung.

der 3 tage oslopass ist incl einer lunchfjord tour, was ihn schon fast bezahlt macht und noch vieles mehr ist drin

“ロケーションで選ぶなら。”

ホテルの設備については、特記すべきことはありません。アメニティなどは揃っていませんが、場所としては中央駅に近く、短期滞在にはよいと思います。ベルゲンに向かうフィヨルドツアーに参加する場合などは非常に便利でお勧めです。
