“Quite scruffy...desperately needs refurbishing”
Pros: the location is fine, and the price is more reasonable than the other outrageously expensive Oslo hotels. The front desk staff were pleasant. Cons: the hotel decor is worn out and clearly hasn't seen any renovation for decades (take a look at the lobby toilets). No restaurant (the rooms have rather ancient kitchenettes). 1980s style CRT televisions in the rooms. If you can get a decent price elsewhere go for it.
“Norwegian Journey”
The staff was wonderful- no request too difficult. The ONLY complaint I have and it is a rather small one is that the hotel is a little away from the main drag, but there are plenty of trams to handkle it. I would stay there again without question! Room was large and clean-very inviting. Breakfast served was delicious, plentiful and varied-even smoked salmon! EXCELENT Hotel!
“Excellent hotel”
Thon Hotel Slottsparken could not be better situated next to the Royal Palace and just off the main street for shopping and nightlife, but far enough away to give some peace and quiet. Hotel was excellent and staff very friendly. Would not hesitate to go again.

Good Location. Breakfast satisfactory. Oslo so expensive, I was relieved that the Hotel did B&B inclusive.

This customer is under renovation which I was not informed about before arrival. The orignal room I was given was unacceptabel as there was no desk and no where to hang my clothes. I had to accept a smoking room as this was all that there was avaailble.

Steekwoorden: - Ontbijtbuffet dik in orde, maar wel op=op... de wekker om 08.00 als je je eigen wafel wil maken want daarna is het beslag op. - Queen Size bedden heeft twee aparte eenpersoons-dekbedden, beetje jammer. - Kitchenette op de kamer is fijn, zeker met hoge etensprijzen van Oslo. - FlyBus vanaf Gardermoen stopt op 100 meter afstand. - 1 kleine electrische kachel, voor de winter wat summier om de kamer warm te krijgen

Super zentrales Hotel; innen hui, außen pfui. Vom ersten Eindruck nicht einschüchtern lassen. Küchenzeile und Ausstattung reicht vollkommen aus.
