“This is a lovely hotel, lovely paintings etc. in main areas”

This is a central location but has a n open outlook onto a square, gracious stairway , and an enjoyable menu for breakfast and other meals too, so am glad we chose this rather than the downtown skyscrapers

“Classic...the BEST!!!”

Great atmosphere, location and restaurant. They were very nice to give us a bigger room since we had our toddler with us. It is such a delightful place.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The location is great (near shopping, near restaurants & bars, the city tour bus even stops outside it). The hotel is nicely done up with modern features but keeping its old style grandure. the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a great swimming pool and steam room that you should definely use when there - very relaxing. The buffet breakfast was lovely, wide selection and plenty of everything. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Oslo.

“Great Hotel”

This is a wonderful hotel, full of old world luxury. My only criticism is that my room looked a bit tired. I also had two single beds pushed together with two very small duvets which was a bit annoying as I woke up cold a lot. That said fantastic location and a great hotel.

“The Grand Is Grand .”

We had a most enjoyable time at the Grand (May 2011) the staff are both courteous and helpful. The breakfasts are absolutely amazing, you want for nothing and it is a of a very high standard. Would definitely recommend The Grand Oslo highly.

“Great Hotel”

Simply put - the hotel was very nice, room was clean, free breakfast was fantastic, location ideal. Beds were comfortable but soft, TV in English was limited..that's the only "negatives" I could find. Overall I'd stay there again.

I have stayed at the Grand Hotel before and it was always a first class operation. I would stay again if I were traveling to Norway because it will not diappoint you.

Staff was very helpful. Excellent room. Courteous staff. The Grand cafe was very nice. Reasonably priced by Oslo standards. Buffet a bargain. Nice free breakfast in the Grand cafe. Breakfast Buffet was both Norwegian and American/English.

A Stunning hotel with extremly helpful and polite staff. The Grand Cafe is a must for dinner. The food is fantastic!

“Grand DameGem in the Heart of Oslo”

Open since 1876. Great location. Tip-top shape. Excellent restaurants. Take the Flybus or train from the airport. The SAS Flybus stops one block behind the hotel.
