“Great place for airport overnight”

Great place for Gardermoen airport overnight at a reasonable cost... for Norway.

“Surprisingly Nice”

Though among the least expensive hotels around the airport, Norlandia was more than I expected. A full service restaurant, great free breakfast, and a small bar. I stayed in a Thon Hotel in Oslo, and Norlandia was much better. Even had BBC on the TV. Fee-based shuttle bus serves all the airport hotels, so you have to pay regardless of where you stay. Great pick for an airport layover. You can even store unnecessary bags at the airport and get them when you leave.

“Nice hotel near the airport”

This hotel is close to the airport, but nothing else. No food, entertainment, etc. anywhere nearby. Oslo proper is about a 45 minute drive. If the location suits your needs, then this is a great place to stay. It's fairly new/remodeled, everything's clean & in working order, the staff is helpful, friendly, and speak excellent English. My only complaint is that the beds are tiny (as with a lot of European hotels), but okay for a night's sleep.......oh yeah, they also have a pretty good buffet breakfast.

I wouldn't recommend it as a vacation destination as it would require a train ride to Oslo. Shuttle service to airport easy to use.

“Clean, efficient, convenient”

Our family of 4 stayed at the Norlandia on a layover. The hotel is newer, quiet and a reasonable value for Norway. The staff was polite and accomodating and there were no surprises. The breakfast buffet was a little plain but adaquate.

“Great Airport Hotel!”

Great place to stay when you need to be near the airport. Spent a whole day there catching up on email and enjoying the wifi service in the spacious lobby. Shuttle service to airport is very convenient.

“Good Hotel if you have your rental car with you”

The good thing is the hotel locates very close to the airport. It only takes one freeway exit from airport. The bad thing is if you don't have a car with you, you need to pay 50 NOK for shuttle per person from the airport to hotel. The shuttle runs quite often (20mins) but the cost is too high for such a short distance.

“Basic and convienent”

Bus charge to get to hotel was excessive, but prompt. Good layover hotel-easy in and out.
