Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous location. Breakfast was good and rooms were nice. Unfortunately we visited at Easter so the restaurant was closed and breakfast started at 7am instead of 6.30am which meant we were unable to have breakfast on our last morning, we had booked transport to the airport for 7am due to an early flight. Maybe we could have been informed about this when booking.

The deluxe room was ok but had no view out the window. Heating was good. The breakfast and dining area bad for vegetarians .

This was in a great location. Lovely clean rooms. Very friendly staff and superb breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return there.

Fabulous hotel in a great, central location. Facilities were great, the room was always warm and it was so convenient to be able to cast our devices to the tv in the room. Varied selection available at breakfast, hotel was wonderfully clean and all of the staff were friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

I will start by stating that the staff was amazing and very accommodating. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the space was very clean. We did go with our 4 yr old and everything you need is walking distance.

What a charming hotel. First of all we arrived early in the mornning and I was prepared to ask if we could leave our bags while be walked about ther city but the concierge cherrfully said, 'WHY WAIT?' They had a room ready and ask our preference. We let them select. It was a fairy tale corner room on the top floor with two bay windows and lovely views. Etremely well appointed. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The breakfast buffect was amazing. There is NO quest ion where I would stay if I come again!! Do not hesitate to book this hotel. It is also very convenient to the metrol.

Quaint
The quaint hotel is perfection placed for the city centre and Christmas markets. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms had everything we needed and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. Great selection of tasty food at breakfast. Couldnt fault the hotel and will definitely return. Oslo is an amazing city.

Lovely central Oslo location in walking distance of the theatres, main shopping street and restaurant's surround the main city square. Superbly decorated rooms and really loved the underfloor heating in the shower room. The restaurant was one of the best in the local area, excelled range of food, beer and wine. Food cooked to perfection and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend staying here. We will again in the future

Underwhelming hotel, rude management
Expected a much nicer hotel given the price - left pretty disappointed. Room size was great for a family but the room was a bit dirty (random hair in the bathroom when we arrived, etc) and daily room cleaning barely touched our room - didn’t take out the trash, didn’t take used dishes, etc. I cleaned our room way more than house keeping did. Tried to cancel the last two nights of our stay shortly after arrival (and barely after the deadline to cancel the entire stay with no penalty) and management refused. Wish we would have chosen somewhere else for our stay.

Great place to stay especially a group of 5! Hard to find that type of accommodation usually have to split up. Clean vibe was great. Quiet but happening! Amazing breakfast included walkable to Train station and all shopping Will definitely recommend this place to anyone

The Best!
We had a lovely 4-night stay at Bondeheimen. We had a large room with really large bathroom—a full size tub and shower stall. The bed was very comfortable. There was a full size couch and two padded chairs. It was worth it to get one of the superior rooms. The location was terrific—within walking distance of everything. The breakfast was enormous and delicious. The dinner in the hotel was excellent as well. The staff was very solicitous and kind.

The really unique part is that because I didn’t know you had to use your key card to LOCK your door as well as unlock it, my credit cards and money were stolen from my room. They had been in the safe but because I wanted to be packed and ready to go, I left them out while I went to the HOTEL dining room. Didn’t even leave the hotel! Anyway, very stressful and I am grateful to Amex Global Assistance and a very very kind train attendant, I was able to leave for Stockholm later than I had planned, but I was allowed to board at any rate. So though the staff was kind, the restaurant was very good and the place clean and nice, excuse me of being robbed is all I can really think of right now. Except how loud people in the street were all freakin night. It didn’t bother me much Friday night, but I had trouble sleeping last night. I didn’t know I had been robbed til morning so maybe somehow I knew something was wrong Traumatized all in all. I won’t rate the hotel poorly though. I should have left my stuff in the safe and locked my door (although I didn’t expect keyed doors would remain open once you left the room)
