Nice and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at Chisun Inn.The hotel is on a small street, very close to the subway station. Many eateries are close by. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was in room laundry facility, microwave oven, and even a kitchenette. However, no pots, pans nor utensils were provided. We didn't experience much street noise as our room was on sixth floor facing the front street, not the expressway. We also like the staff for always being so cheerful and made us feel welcome.

one of the worst hotels ive ever stayed in. Definately not 3 star, more like a hostal. The room was small, smelt bad and dirty. the carpets were filthy, the bed was small and full of hairs good location near a tuve stop. would NOT recomend this hotel

This is right next to Higobashi station, but not much else. It's at least quieter here in this part of town, so if you want to see Osaka but you don't want all the awful noise, foot traffic, and the smell, then this might be the place for you. Walls were not in great shape -- there were some dirt marks on it. Slippers were of really cheap quality. But serviceable otherwise; can't really complain.

We have a nice experience in this hotel. It's only half a minute to railway. There is a little kitchen in hotel and we can borrow cooking tools at counter. And there is washing machine and it is dry in the next day when we put into washroom. Everything is good and we love this hotel. However, as this is business district, there's no stores nearby except Lawson.

A no-frill decent stay at this inn.
I am just not use to the size of hotel rooms in Japan. They are a bit too small & Chisun Inn is no difference. Thank goodness for the close proximity to the subway which is just a minute walk from the exit and a 24-hr convenient store just across the street. There are hidden gems in the neighborhood like small family-run restaurants.

Value for money, will come again
Clean, bright and spacious room for two big suitcases and all shopping goods! Good location with a few steps to a metro station and about 15-20min walk to Osaka Station. Wifi is reasonably strong in the room. For improvement, it will be great if the staff could prepare the futon at night as it may be too tired after a whole day excursion!

Very close to metro, convient store and 松屋
Love the location (literally 1min from Higobashi metro station). It is just across the road from Lawson (convenient store) and Matsuya (Japanese style convenient store). Didn't like the tatami, and whilst the kitchen is equipped with kettle, microwave and stove, there was no cooking/eating utensils. The washer and dryer is definitely a big plu.

Although a little hard to find (even the taxi driver had difficulty) the hotel provided a larger standard room with extra facilities including washing machine and dryer, and cooking facilities.

Convenient Hotel
we stayed at a room with kitchen, tatami space, and washing machine. a washing machine helps our trip a lot under humid weather. there are so many restaurants near (walk distance). you should check ramen-restaurant going towards west (need to across Yotsubashi street). subway is almost next to hotel and one stop to Umeda (Osaka Station), and a few stops to Namba. There is Matsuya (beef bowl first food) on the corner of Yotsubashi, and they serve very inexpensive breakfast set. You should check on it. Futon on the tatami floor is thin and I had to ask something extra under it not to hurt my body.... bed is only for one person size although it is said "semi-double"

Wonderful room but some problem.
The staff is wonderful and my main reason for the three star over all. The rooms are spacious and it has a nice kitchenette. I did had a few problems figuring out how to use all the extras. No English translation of the washer, bathroom fan or the hot water for the bathroom. (I know I'm in Japan learn to read the local writing, they had English translations for everything else so..) Last problem is your right next to an expressway and you will hear the cars all night. But you are right on top of a subway station so travel is easy.

Nice cozy hotel next to subway entrance.
The place was conveniently located next to the subway entrance and near many good restaurants. The hotel staff provided a list of a couple dozen good places to eat that were walking distance. The wifi was so so, but the room had a kitchen, frig, washing machine, microwave, stove and enough space for 4 of us to stay. I would stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Don't Checkout Late!
Hotel is very basic, located in an office area with a convenience store nearby but shelves were empty when we were there. Not many restaurants nearby. Room could have been cleaner. We checked out a few minutes after the very early 10 am checkout and staff told us we would have to pay a penalty fee. They agreed to waive the fee but only if we joined their membership club and gave up personal information.

Location and washing machine in a room :)
this hotel provide washing machine in a room and air dryer at bathroom. This is good for family trip especially those doesn't really want to bring too many clothes. The location is excellent, just few steps to Higobashi Station. But, some of the hotel room (my room was one of it room-->808) is directly facing express way which will produce some vehicle noise for 24 hours. Saturday night probably terrible as my wife and me wake up by the car racing at the express way. Anyway, we are too tire everyday after coming back to hotel and could sleep back again even wake up by some noise at midnight. Last but not least, the hotel provide microwave, but did not provide any plate or spoon, just couple of ceramic cup, so you really just can use it when you buy something directly from mart that can direct put into the microwave.

Nice and comfortable stay
Is a nice stay, and the staff there was nice to let us check in earlier when the room is ready before the check in time. The hotel location is good, just 1minute walk from subway station. Nearby there are 24 hours restaurants and mini mart. Will definitely stay there again if got chance.

Decent hotel close to subway station
Hotel is nice, family friendly, clean and spacious. It's got kitchen area, living area, laundry washer, etc. close to yotsubashi line at higobashi station, across is lawson and nearby family mart. Close to the best tasting fastfood I had in Japan (MATSUYA).. I just can't find the exhaust in the bathroom. But overall, great stay!

Good sized room, lacking in amenities
Recently spent 2 nights at Chisun Inn. Location is great as the hotel is sandwiched between two subway lines and so getting to/from Osaka station, Namba and Shinsabashi (spelling) is only couple stops away. Unlike some commented that rooms were small, thought mine was more than adequate. It came with a small kitchen, desk, full dresser and a tub. However, the hotel itself is certainly not the most cutting edge. It looks old and only has one small elevator serving the 9 floors. They still use a flat metal key for entry, which I had trouble opening the room door a couple times. The shower is handheld type and water toggles btwn the wash sink and tub. Hot water is not hot enough and waterflow is on the weak side. Its in what appears to be a business neighborhood, quite safe...its also very close to a highway, road noises were apparent but not loud enough to lose sleep. Its an OK place, good value.

I stayed at this hotel for seven nights and it was well worth the money. A typical business hotel, except it had a washer machine in the room, clips for hanging clothes to dry and a heater in the bathroom. A kitchen (although I had no pots to actually cook) and a refrigerator. Everything in the room was in working order, although some of the batteries in the remotes needed replacing. Heater kept the room warm. Small bathtub in the bathroom was nice. There was some confusion about how to make the shower water hot, but I did some sleuthing to figure it out. The hotel staff offered a card that provided photos and English to show how to work the heater, the fan, the toilet, etc. Very helpful. The staff's English was limited but functional.The room was small but this is to be expected. The bed was comfortable. One thing I liked about this hotel is that it offered "Do Not Disturb", "Cleaning Service" and "Eco Service" signs to put on your door. The "Eco Service" means the staff will not come in and wash the sheets and towels. I appreciated this, and I wish more hotels would offer this service.

We arrived hotel very late at night, and wait a little bit for the door open. Staffs are helpful, but you can't meet them very often. We are surprised to find Wifi at room, it's good. TV will open automatically every morning, and turn off itself. Strange sounds at night. But after all, the hotel is ok.

Near subway station. For 3 persons, we were given 1 bed and 2 tatami. Both are not comfortable, bed too soft and tatami too thin. The cover of the light is dirty with stain. But the in-room washing machine and dryer are just what we want. So we are happy with what we get.

The room is quite large with a kitchenette and a washing machine. Compared to even 4 star Japanese hotel rooms, this one was large. It had a sitting area with tatami mat and a low table. I don't know if it was just my room but there was a strong moldy smell and the room was quite warm. The window was overlooking the freeway and it was noisy all night long. All said, this was a very good value.

Efficient staff and value for money stay
I've made some enquiries via email to the inn before our stay and received fast response from the staff (Kobayashi). Inn is a very short walking distance once you come out of Exit 5A from Higobashi station. Alternatively, if you are carrying luggages, instead of using exit 5A when you exit the station ticketing platform, use the elevator(there is a signage), then you can walk across the road to the inn. They let us checked in early as our room was ready. Free wifi available in the room and password can be found in the printed instruction card placed in the room. The executive room with tatami has all the necessities a traveller needs. A washing machine{you need to get the detergent either from the inn or from Lawson store(just across the road)}, small fridge, microwave oven, electric hotplate, hair dryer, toiletries, humidifier and the best part is - the bathroom can be converted to clothes dryer with the in-built heater/ventilator. The elevator and room corridor had a slight lingering "smoke" smell. But its good that our room(non-smoking) is free of the smell. They do not have a restroom in their reception area. Overall, efficient service from front desk staff as well as the cleaning team. Please keep it up..

The hotel is located in a quiet side street, a few yards from the subway exit at Higobashi, within walking distance of Osaka and Umeda stations. Quite a few restaurants (and tako yaki stand!) nearby. No business facilities (printer, etc.,) though there is wifi - a bit of walk to a Kinko's for big printing but now most convenience stores allow you to print from a thumb drive. No breakfast included but a coffee shop next door offers rather decent breakfast choices with their coffee.
