We really enjoyed our stay at the House Hotel . The staff are very helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable & memorable . The room we had which has a small balcony with fantastic view of the Bosphorus is a little small but because it's a historic building that's just the way it is. We stayed there for six nights and we thought at first that it's not going to work for us. But on the second day we realized we won't be spending a lot of our time in the room because we are out and about all the time . It is comfortable and it's designed to feel spacious . It's got everything we need ,coffee / tea maker , complimentary water , enough toiletries etc and the AC is good. There are so many restaurants to choose from around the area both high end or local restaurant . It caters for all budgets . We love the House Cafe and the breakfast lounge has a wonderful view and serves lovely buffet spread . We love the local shops you really feel you are in Turkey .. There was one night when I couldn't sleep because I could hear the loud music in the area . I tried to put an ear plug but it didn't work . Anyway, it didn't put us off.. The staff in the reception are all very charming . We had a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and delicious box of chocolates. And a few days after that we had another box of chocolates . And every time they do the turn down we get 4 different types of chocolates .. The only thing we can fault them is they made us put on weight.

The House Hotel Bosphorus is a landmark building built in late 19th century with magnificent views of the Bosphorus. …More
I stayed in this hotel for a few days and I was delighted by everything I saw. First of all, the hotel is strategically located - within a few mins to Ortakoy district and also close to Etiler and Ulus. The house itself is beautifully decorated with rooms that have a very nice and unique character. It also has plenty of outdoor space with a nicely designed garden and lots of tables/chairs and sofas. Rooms are clean and well maintained. And last but not least, hotel staff is extremely helpful. I was personally greeted by the owner and the staff kept offering tea/coffee - compliments of the hotel. Overall, the hotel offers a value way above what its price suggests.
I will definitely go back to stay in this hotel next time I'm in Istanbul and highly recommend it to everyone.
