Nestled in the sheltered Hazard Bay, the lodge is laid without fanfare along a ribbon of serene beach. Accommodating just 34 indulged guests at any one time; Orpheus ensures absolute seclusion and serenity!

Getting there:

Nautilus Aviation operates the daily 25 minute scenic flight transfer to/from Orpheus! The cost of this transfer is NOT included in the accommodation rate and must be booked through Orpheus Reservations. Please contact the hotel after making your reservation. Hotel contact information is included in the confirmation email.

The Nautilus Aviation check-in counter is located in Gate Lounge 10, near to the baggage carousel. Passengers are required to meet at the Nautilus Aviation check-in counter, with their luggage, no later than 20 minutes prior to their helicopter flight time. Guests will be asked to present photo identification for a smooth check-in. Passengers are restricted to one suitcase and one small carry on item, to a maximum weight of 15kgs in total.

Honouring a diverse selection of Australia's finest drops, the Orpheus cellar features both iconic and boutique wines from the country's most renowned wine regions. The selection has been carefully crafted to ensure a perfect harmony between cuisine, climate and environment.

The island’s signature dining experience is Dining with the Tides. One evening of your stay, enjoy a private dinner on the pier backlit by the sun’s setting rays over the Coral Sea. Your intimate dinner for two will be served under a starlit canopy and minimal interruptions will ensure a unique and romantic dining experience. Perfect for proposals, a memorable milestone or celebration!

Orpheus boasts a plethora of once in a lifetime experiences! Its principal dive sites boast 1,100 of the 1,500 species of fish on the reef; the local waters are a fisherman's playground and home to the most sought after reef and game fish species in the world; guests can take the helm of a dingy and discover the many pristine coves and reefs that fringe Orpheus or they can enjoy an indigenous-led tour of the culturally-rich neighbouring islands. Alternatively, Orpheus provides the perfect backdrop for a more private interlude if guests wish to simply shut off from the outside world!
