Brothers vacation

Pros: Convenience to Disney parks.
Cons: Better budget friendly prices on the food. Free coffee, tea available in the lobby.
Location: Great location for downtown Disney. Convenient transportation to and from the Park.
We stayed 4 nights. The hotel was clean and staff friendly.

Arrived to Disney World a day earlier than expected seen this hotel on Expedia and thought I would give it a try great little hotel within walking distance of Downtown Disney!

Will never stay there again/or recommend to anyone

Pros: The bus shuttle to Disney
Cons: Maintenance of the hotel and provide a better experience for customers like me who had issues
I woke up the morning after my first night's stay to find a puddle of water in the room next to the window, prior to going out for the day i informed the front desk representative and she told me someone would be up to handle it but when i returned to the room there was still water on the floor. I could not even use that side of the room and I would have demanded a refund because for what i paid to stay there that was the most horrible experience i have ever had. For a hotel that is that busy and claim they offer a great value to travelers I am very disappointed and disgusted by my experience. I honestly would not recommend or stay there again because the price was not worth the experience. I wanted to leave the 2nd night but was too tired to even bother. I'll post a blog about my experience, i should have requested a refund.

Food and wine at epcot

Had a wonderful time got there and the hotel up graded us to a tower rooms very very nice of them. Can't say enough good things.

good place to stay

Pros: mini fridge was very usefull. pool was nicer than anticipated
Cons: it was pretty good. maybe better color scheme?
Location: downtown disney has the cheapest food around. Across the street there is a bennihana in the hotel. gas station is next to downtown disney parking lot.
was at disney world for 6 days and stayed here. good hotel near downtown disney. families with kids would enjoy this place for pool(really nice), basket ball,tennis.open space. we ate at downtown disney a lot since its a 5-10 min walk to down town disney. buses for the most part were on schedule to and from hotel(every 30 min) but they parked at the furthest possible location at disney parks. Downtown disney does not offer transportation to parks!!! dont plan on going there for lunch! you would have to walk back to hotel to get a bus to park. the mini fridge in room came in really useful. or storing snacks and drinks we wanted cold. I would proably stay at this hotel again.

Great location

Pros: The location, the pillows (which is a big deal for me), the 24 hour coffee shop.
Cons: Entrance to the pool could be closer to the tower building instead of having to trudge outside the building with workers watching. Creepy!
Location: Location was great. Downtown Disney was very close by, and the shuttle buses were always on time to get me to the parks.
I chose to stay at the Wyndham because of its proximity to Downtown Disney, and for the shuttle buses to the parks. I really liked the hotel. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue/Fibromyalgia, and comfortable pillows are essential. This was one of the very few hotels where the pillows were absolutely perfect! The beds were comfortable, and I felt well rested each morning. The buses ran on schedule, and were very easy to use. I made good use of the 24 hour coffee shop, especially when I was so tired after walking in the parks every day. The only thing I didn't like was the way access to the pool was situated. You had to ride the elevator to the basement, and exit through a side door of the hotel, which left you some distance from the pool. I was very uncomfortable with this setup, because I was traveling alone, and hated the idea of wandering through the basement of a building, and then having to walk to the pool with the eyes of workers on me. If there is a way to make an exit door for guests of the tower building be nearer to the pool, I would be very happy. I do have to admit that my room wasn't cleaned by 5:00 on one day, and I caught the chambermaid using the same pillow cases even though I had requested clean sheets! Otherwise, I was quite please with my stay.

Well surrounded.

It was very convenient that the hotel is close to the Disney parks and that it was surrounded by good restaurants. I did not like where my room was located, and the housekeeping staff was very loud in the morning. The room was very hot, making it very uncomfortable to sleep at night; the lowest the temperature could go was 68°. The bathroom door was a little damaged, it wasn't a good look. When booking the hotel, I did not really have the choice of where I would stay. Whether I would stay in the side parts or in the main building and I did not like that. It wasn't until I got there that I found out where my room was and I was a little disappointed. I'm not saying it's a bad hotel. It is a very good-looking hotel but I was disappointed of where I was located and it being loud in the morning. Plus we were surprised that we had to pay for parking. Why can't parking be included in the hotel price?

Cons: Free morning coffee should be offered in the lobby each morning. Guests should not have to buy coffee just to get a descent cup & not cheap room coffe
Did not like the fact that wheat her you park your vehicle yourself or valet parks it the charge is the same! If parking is charged then just charge it. Valet service was very slow.

Terrible staff

Maid was knocking on the door promptly at 8:00a.m. asking when we were leaving even though checkout was at 11:00 a.m., came back two more time that morning, terrible morning. I believe it is the hotel responsibility to train staff on the rules and regulations and how to treat guests. I complained to the front desk manager and they did not care. This is supposed to be a high scale hotel but staff acted as a low end hotel.
