Vista Cay Resort near Universal Studios accommodations are three-story townhomes (no elevator access), and one-story suites within four-story buildings. All have in-room safes, fully equipped kitchens, multiple bathrooms, living rooms, and washers and dryers.

Executives Condo-Suites have furnished balconies, and townhomes have small walk-out balconies on the second floor. Townhomes have second-floor living areas, sleeping areas on the first and third floors, and bathrooms on each level. Townhomes also have private one-car garages.

Each bedroom has its own TV. Living rooms have large flat-screen TVs. HBO is included, along with DVD players and stereo systems with CD players. DVD rentals are available in the front office. “Very nice resort/cpno”

Very nice stay, 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, full laundry with enough soap, detergent to last our 6 person, 5 day stay, rooms were a bot used but clean. Staff was very helpful, called twice to assure we were satisfied. I would recommend this place for the price, convenience of location and amendities (pool, hot tub, etc).

“Enormous of space if that's what you're looking for”

Convenient located condo style hotel with huge living area and kitchen; if you have a big party you would be happy with the great space they offer. Since it's a condo/apartment style hotel, there is no ice or vending machine on each floor as you normally find in a hotel, but you do have washing machine and dryer here.

“Why stay in a hotel, when you can have your own townhouse?”

For the price of a moderate hotel room around the convention center, you can have a 3 bedroom townhouse with excellent facilities, close to everything.

“Beautiful resort”

Very nice accomodations, friendly staff, close to lots of attractions but with a quiet, secluded environment. Huge, clean pool, walking/running trail around a lake, and well maintained grounds. The condo plan is also appealing vs a hotel room. Slightly more expensive than a higher end hotel but you get a lot more living space, less congestion, and peace/quiet.

“Clean, Nice size hotel room”

the only issue i had was i requested a few weeks back that my brother and i stay in the same building however, they said they never got the request and they did nothing about it knowing the hotel was only 25% occupied maybe thats the reason why mgt sucks

“One of the best”

Vista Cay was a great place to stay. We rented a 3 bedroom luxury condo suite and were not disappointed. If you are staying more than 3 nights or so, you will need to visit a Walmart or Publix to get some toilet paper, paper towels, etc. They do provide a starter, but it only lasts for a few days. Washer and dryer in the unit was great ! It was nice to have a roomy atmosphere to come back to after a busy day in the parks

When to go

July is a great time to vacation. But it was soooo crowded at Disney. Recommend not going there around July 4th.

Getting around

Rental car is the way to go. Otherwise, you spend a lot of money on shuttles, taxis, etc.

“Excellent Stay and Location”

We went to Disney, Epcot, and Universal Studio's. The condo was excellent. Great location, spacious, and very clean. Close to restaurants, grocery, and drug store. Felt like home away from home. Would recomend to friends and definitely stay again. Great vacation!

“Wonderful!”

Everything was great here. We got upgraded to the executive suite which was 2200 square feet with 3 BR/2BA. Granite countertops, HUGE master BR and master BA. Also had a dining room. Would deff go here again. Everything is very close. They have a Walgreens on the property within walking distance. It is as cheap as any other Walgreens. No price gouging here. Pool was awesome. For such a huge place, everything was very easy to get to. 2 things that they could have improved on were room darkening shades for the BR and the gym was very warm. They had the temp set to 78 degrees. Other than that it was perfect. The staff were very warm and friendly.

Area recommendations

This area is close to disney and Universal and grocery stores. Perfect location.

Well the description on the website is different then Expedia and the prices are not what was charged according to the Hotel personnel. The toilet was broke and they did not come fix it like I asked. There was no laundry soap like promised and when I asked they never came and brought me any. There were no sheets or blankets for pullout couch. Very upset with this.
