“Nice place to stay”
Great place to vacation at. The Plams is well maintained, and taken care of. If we ever go to Orlando again. I will stay at The Plams.
“OK but wouldn't go back.”
Room key was a pain...had to have it changed almost everyday as we got locked out regularly. Didn't have enough blankets for the pull out. Our room was rarely restocked with coffee, dish detergent or conditioner. I think it happened to others as well as I always saw people taking tray loads of coffee from the breakfast bar to their room. The breakfast was pretty bad with no fruit in sight. The shuttle was great and always on time. The pool always had bugs floating around in it but was a good size and temp. Hot tub was nice after a long day at Disney. The kitchen was missing dishes...only had 3 bowls and 2 glasses for 5 people. But we made the best of what we were given!!
“Great”
Great, staff very helpful, clean rooms and very close to Disney World
“Disney fantasy vacactions”
Everything was so great, my only mistake was not to purchase the Disney tickets with Expedia, I made a mistake and purchased tickets for California instead of Florida!! Now I'm dealing to get a refund.
“super close to Disney”
Everything was great, just as specified, breakfast was good and hot just wish they served meat(eggs only) it was called a deluxe continental breakfast. On the last night we noticed some small bugs on the linens and other areas. When we notified the front desk they offered to change our room immediately but we decided not to it was our last night and they weren't bitting or bothering us. The pools were great and clean hot tub too. The play room had some good games at reasonable prices. The best part was that we were not more than 5 minutes down the road from Disney.
“Good and Bad”
The hotel was clean but could use some updates. We had a one bedroom suite to sleep six and we put the four kids in the bedroom and my husband and I took the sleeper sofa. The mattress was old, dirty and you could feel the springs poking you. The refridgerator didn't cool very well. The layout was awkward. The only closet was inside the bathroom and the sink area was not separate from the rest of the bathroom so only one person could get ready at a time. The worst part of the stay was the noise coming from upstairs. It sounded as if a heard of elephants were going to fall through the floor. We complained but the noise continued. At checkout we informed them again about the mattress and noise and simply got an "I'm sorry" but no offer to compensate us in any way. On the positive side, the beds in the bedroom were comfortable and the pool was warm and clean and the continental breakfast provided a variety of choices from cold cereals to waffles, eggs, pastries and fruit.
“So- so”
Paper thin walls! We could hear everything!! Breakfast and the service was good.
“Would definitely go back!”
This hotel was great, the continental breakfast was amazing, the service was great. The hotel is close to many restaurants and the highway. The rooms and the pool were extremely clean. We would definitely return and would recommend this to anyone.
“Orlando Holiday - We will be back...”
This is our 2nd stay to the hotel, our first stay was 6 years ago when it was Holmewood Suites so we knew the location was great for visiting the Disney Parks and being close to the main roads. The rooms are in need of refurbishment and some general maintenance work - but the housekeeping standards were great, fresh towels and the room cleaned everyday. A good budget style hotel/apartment for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) - lovely pool area, games room for kids & laundry facilities are especially useful. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast this time as no meat was served and it was the same every day - but good as it was complimentary. If only we had a few more restaurants to choose from in the surrounding area then this would be a fantastic place to stay. If we return to Orlando again then we will certainly look at this hotel/villa again.
“Don't Waste Your Money”
Expecting a wonderful resort, our family found instead an old, dirty, dilapidated hotel that was more like a motel and so close to the interstate that we could barely sleep. The doors in our room were literally falling off the hinges and the carpet was beyond dirty and coming up in several places. There were stains on the doors, and it was just generally gross. This was by far the worst room we have booked in our 15 trips to the Orlando area.
