“Not Impressed”
The staff was extremely rude & unaccommodating. We requested an early checkin & were made to wait for 1 hour before being told that she (the clerk) had called housekeeping & that they didn't respond yet. She made no effort to followup & made me feel like I was bothering her. We never did get an early check in.
“very good for the money you pay”
this hotel is very good for the money you pay for it. Also you can use the facilities of the resort which is very nice.
“Oak Plantation February 2011”
I stayed at the Oak Plantation Resort and at the Hotel on three different occasions. Always got a good value for the price. There are a lot of hotels in this area and I have stayed at most of them over the years. I like this hotel and I can usually find it for a reduced price on Expedia.
“Will never go back”
I would never recommend this hotel it was so ditty . The carpet was stained and so was the couch .we payed extra for the housekeeping a they never changed the bed . We had to ask clean towels. No coffee in room . No cups . Their was mold in the tub .
“Orlando cheap Option Hotel”
Everything was good, nice service. The olny thing was the wireless, i have to go to other side in the hotel to connect my computer.
“Expected more than I received”
The status of the hotel is not as expected, several things on the room didn't worked and for what I heard from other hosts was the same situation on other rooms. The people that work there treat you good but not the infrastructure. It should be updated.
“Inn at Oak Plantation - Avoid like the plague”
This hotel was offered to us by Expedia since our origional Hotel had suddenly closed for refirbishment 10 days before we were due to stay there. On arrival, Hotel looked shut. Car park was completely empty, and the front looked boarded up. At sign in, receptionist was either new or completely inept. Booking included complementary breakfast. Receptionist had to phone somebody to see where this was served! Breakfast was actually ok, basic, but fresh. Consisted of coffee, muffins, bagels and watered down orange juice. Told that we were welcome to use the facilities of the complex. When we asked for details, she told us it was down the track! Asked for a map of the complex, but apparantly one doesn't exist, so you have to find things for yourself. Rejected first room offered as the smell of urine was so strong, even the receptionist had to leave immediately. Same problem with second room offered. Third room still smelt, but was bearable with an aroma candle lit day and night. Room safe didn't work, maintainance staff couldn't get it to work. Air Con sounded like a jet taking off. No bulbs in any of the lights. Eventually replaced them ourselves as it was starting to get dark and we had to go to Walmart anyway (See later) Keys had to be sent from another site (45 minute wait for them) Although the room has a kitchenette, there is no cutlery or plates or cups (Luckily Walmart is close) Pool was padlocked up. Carpet was sticky under foot. Bar shuts at 9pm Not nice
“AVOID THIS PLACE!!!”
The toilet overflowed in our room and the front desk clerk only sent up a man with a plunger. We immediately left and took another room in Orlando, because all rooms were booked due to the New Year holiday, The resort is run down, and even the maintenance staff tell you there are better resorts. The housekeeping staff do not have the proper supplies, ex. towels, sheets, linens. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS MOTEL!!!!! HORRIBLY DATED PLACE
“Don't bother”
There was no ice bucket in the room and no ice machine on the premises. There was a coffee pot in the room, but there was no coffee, no cups, not even styrofoam cups. No dishes or glasses of any kind, not even plastic. The motel was hard to find at night, the sign out front was not lit, and there were no outside lights at night making us feel unsafe. The continental breakfast was minimal, there was coffee, juice, bagels, and english muffins. No cereal, toast, or anything else.
“Cheap Place to Sleep”
This hotel is a low end addition to the complex behind it, which you can walk to or make a uturn on the main road to get to.The room was clean, but not put together very well. Crappy light over the desk and things falling off the wall. The pillows were horrible. Asked for additional pillows, and we did receive them, but still ended up buying our own. NO ice machine. Laundry Room was at the other complex, and nothing was working in it. Had to use a pay laundry place down the road. Continental breakfast, bagel and muffin.
