“Great Room”

Full kitchen saved us alot of time and money. Washer and dryer was also nice. Indoor / outdoor pool stayed open to 11:00 PM. Convient to everything

“Great hotel - Be prepared to pay for everything”

This is a wonderful property. Very spacious grounds with plenty of onsite ammenties. Disappointed that for the cost of the stay that everything on the property cost money such as tongs to use the complimentary outdoor grills. Very kid oriented. Lots of activities. Great pool.

“Nice place”

Would have got all 5 but alot of amenities closed early ..... Bar was to close at 9pm closed at 7 to use boats we had to wait for someone to get to dock their excuse it was a slow week... But overall great facilities ... The pool was great ..

“will never return and visit the roach's again”

The cost of the room was high and the room was very average in size and comfort, old tv's and a problem with roach's. My grandchildren loved the pool but that is not enough for us to return!

“Great stay”

Enjoyed my stay. Everything was as advertised. My son enjoyed all the pools. Easy to get to and not a long distance from great dinning . Downtown Disney only a short 10 minute drive.

“Would stay there again”

The hotel was really nice. The front desk staff left a little to be desired because upon check in the girl who waited on me didn't smile and wouldn't really look at me either. Seemed like she wasn't happy to be there. During my trip I had to go back to the front desk and ask them a question. A different girl helped me this time. When I asked my question she just kind of looked at me like I was asking her to part the Red Sea when all I wanted was another packet of laundry detergent. Check out was easier, the girl was extremely polite and seemed to enjoy her job. Plus she didn't look at me like I was an alien. Other than that the hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. My room came with more than I thought and I thought it was reasonably priced. The pool was beautiful too. The grounds crew, maintenance, security, activities people were really really friendly and polite. The only other thing that bothered me was you had to use these card things for the pool towels and they were none replaceable if you lost it. They are really tight on the pool towel security. One other annoying thing was a card they give you to access the internet, if you lose that you are out of luck. They will not replace it. Despite the front desk help and their little cars rules I'd go back. Oh yeah be sure to avoid the lady that the front desk tells you you have to speak to before you go to your room, that tries to get you to buy a time share.

“Excellent Orlando resort for families”

Stayed at the Fountains resort in Orlando for 1 week April-May 2011. Safe resort for families with a manned, gated entrance. Beautiful grounds with a walking trail, lakes, fountains, fire pits and outdoor grills. Kids and parents walking around late at night. 2 heated pools, one indoor/outdoor and the other with live entertainment, both open late (one 9pm, the other 11pm). Clubhouse with 2 pool tables and multiple arcade games. Central location about 5-10 minute drive to Disney and Sea World, 15 minute drive to Universal. Quiet, rural location. Not surrounded by restaurants or mass people, but a short drive or bus ride away from it. Timeshare resort, but wasn't hounded to buy or attend presentations. Suite was large and well laid out. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Driving around Orlando, we concluded that we were staying in one of the best locations possible. Would definately stay there again. Had a great time.

Area recommendations

Disney & Universal for theme park attractions. North International Drive for shopping options.

Getting around

It's better to get a rental car in Orlando rather than depend on bus transporation. Most everything is within a 10-15 minute drive. Otherwise, plan to spend hours waiting for and riding the bus.
