Great Property & Family Friendly

Posted 04-May-2015
Pros: Very clean and well decorated. Spacious.
Cons: I didn't like that you couldn't bring your own drinks/food to the pool. Servers were slow to bring water if you weren't drinking alcohol.
Location: Close to Disney, Sea World, Legoland.
We recently stayed for 6 days at the Wyndham Grand Reunion in April 2015. I grew up in Orlando, FL and I find it more enjoyable to stay off property. While in Orlando we visited Sea World, Disney and Legoland. The property was in easy driving proximity to all locations. There is a close grocery store and we were able to enjoy eating breakfast in our PJs and not dealing with the Disney crowds. We stayed in a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom suite that was extremely clean and very well decorated. The housekeeping staff brought anything we asked for and would clean our room between our activities. To eat out you are closest to Downtown Disney, Disney Properties and International Drive. The hotel has multiple pools including a great kids water park and a lazy river.

Fabulous villas close to Disney

Posted 02-May-2015
Pros: The bedrooms were very spacious, the kitchen was fully equipped and the apartment had a washer and dryer; so convenient!
Cons: The wifi was a little bit slow; high speed internet would have been great.
Location: The Resort has a golf course in its land and very nice scenery. Just across the street there's a Publix supermarket and a Dunkin' Donuts.
I stayed at the Reunion Resort Villas while attending a medical conference being held at the Walt Disney Dolphin almost ten miles away as the conference hotel was completely booked. Due to the distance to be traveled I had my reservations at first but luckily decided to book due to the convenience of having a kitchen and living area for my Mom and brother who would be staying with my 17 month old twins while I was at the conference. What a brilliant move on my part!! I rented a one bedroom villa and ended up staying at a 3 bedroom, 2 bath villa with a full size kitchen and two balconies for the same prize. My family couldn't be happier and the distance traveled would take me only 12 minutes each morning. It was all well worth! The villa was wonderful, just gorgeous.

exceeded all our expectations!

Posted 25-Apr-2015
We booked this hotel because of the onsite water park and the fact that they had rooms with full kitchens. when we arrived we were beyond amazed. Driving up to the hotel which you can see from a distance it looks grand. we stayed at the 7 eagles area of the resort. there is the main hotel and several what appeared to be condo type areas. we open our door to an expansive entryway and well-equipped rooms kitchen and living area. it also included a washer and dryer. there are multiple pools on site. the water park which is walking distance kept the kids well entertained. we ate at the club house every morning for breakfast and the food was amazing. upon checking and for any inquiries the hotel staff are courteous and very helpful. I cannot find a negative thing or opportunity to give this hotel. we would highly recommend and will definitely stay again in future years.

Family Vacation

The units are beautiful and the operation is impressive so much attention to detail. The waterpark is awesome, but only open from 10-5. Would b awesome to extend to 8 pm or later. The exterior of some of the buildings are showing its age , but it is 5 star property. Great value.

Nice Resort

Posted 13-Apr-2015
This is my second stay at the Reunion resort and it's very comfortable with a great water park for the younger children. This is what needs improved. The buildings need to be clearly marked and lit up for evening arrival. We stayed 8 days and house keeping never showed for two of the days. Slow pool service and maintenance staff. But overall everyone on staff is very friendly and I would recommend this resort again.

Outdated and poor quality for 5 star rating

Posted 11-Apr-2015
Pros: Room layouts and nice and the pool areas are quite good.
Cons: Fit and finish of rooms, televisions, better maintained equipment, extermination, and internet
Location: In the immediate vicinity, the location is isolated, but within a 20-30 minute drive there are many attractions and restaurants.
We had numerous issues with the experience including multiple smoke alarms in the middle of the night. The internet wifi did not work at all. The televisions are of 1990s vintage and only received 40% of the channel list. The bathroom fan did not work, and we had a cockroach problem. The fit and finish of the rooms was nice, but not 5 star quality. In the main hotel, the quality is better. They should make that clear to travelers that there is a significant quality difference. The room layouts are excellent though and they could improve the quality to a more consistent level with a reasonable effort. The location provides access to most attractions with a 25 or so minute drive. The property is nice, but does have an unfinished feel to it, as it is in a phased construction development with much still underway.

Great Resort

Posted 11-Apr-2015
Reunion is one of the best resorts in America. The amenities and activities are outstanding, as well as the staff and services. The only suggestion is that they upgrade to flat screen TVs in the villas.

Good value when traveling with big family

Posted 30-Mar-2015
5-10 miles away from all the theme parks. Great water park for the kids. We stayed in a 3-bedroom condo which was perfect for our family with 4 kids. Rooms big and perfectly clean. Only "problem" is that the multi bedroom units are styled like individual apartment buildings and separated from the main hotel, upwards of a mile away from the actual hotel. Free shuttle that will get you around the property. The separation didn't really affect us because we ate in our condo unit or at local restaurants anyway, not in the hotel. And there's plenty of parking at their water park so we just drove over in our rental car. So basically you are living in an apartment while you are there if you get a multi-bedroom unit. Workout facility sucks. A set of dumbells and 4 treadmills, 2 ellipticals. All old and outdated. Small and cramped and it closes at 11pm.
