“Loved it so much last year, came back again”

This is the perfect hotel for me. No big frills, no bustling corridors - just quiet, calm, neat little apartments with everything you need for a peaceful and self-catered stay. Orlando's already got enough to blow you away - there's no need to expect it from the place you'll only be around for breakfast, a quick rest in the afternoon and sleep.

“Not your typical Marriott hotel; old and rundown.”

I was hesitant to stay at this hotel because of some reviews I have read. Unfortunately, the hotel was in delapidated condition. The couch was ripped, the carpet smelly and worn, the bathrooms moldy. I am not exaggerating. I am Marriott fan, through and through, and this property does not deserve to be a Marriott. The only upside were the updated kitchen appliances (which wasn't of any use to us because we were out all day). On the day we checked in, we needed a few things from the front desk. We spoke with Kenneth twice on the phone until. our phone mysteriously stopped working. We find this so unprofessional as it seemed Kenneth de ided to disconnect our phone. Because this property was a garden property, the rooms were close to the street. While I do not fault the hotel for this (Iknew it was a garden property when I booked our reservations), I now know to not choose this type of hotel in the future. It was raining when we arrived and the entrance to our room had a big puddle. The room was so musty. The hotel breakfast was good; it was the usual Marriott breakfast with waffles, etc. Though the staff was not rude, they lacked the usual Marriott customer service standard. I prepaid 3 nights at this property but checked out after 2 nights; we couldn't wait to get out of this hotel. When we checked out, no one bothered to ask why we decided to cut our stay short (no one bothered to ask how our stay was either). Will not stay at this property again.

“Orlando Hotel”

Hotel is not what you would expect in UK. There is a main reception building where you check in and get your breakfast ect. The rooms are in the style of blocks of up and down flats, with the number of bedrooms you require. There is a living area with settee, chair and 42" Flat screen TV, with movie channels. There is a full kitchen area, complete with dishwasher, cooker, fridge freezer, toaster ect. and bathroom with shower over the bath. The room was in good condition, with maid service daily. We had a downstairs room and sometimes you could hear the people in the room above moving about. The air conditioning was slightly noisy, with a knocking sound, which was repaired within 15 mins of reporting it. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and efficient and nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast was good, with as much as you wanted, albeit an America style, with pancakes, waffles, maple syrup ect. The hotel was situated just of Sand Lake road, between I Drive and Universal Boul, easy to get too using public transport. The lynx bus stop on I Drive was a 3 min walk from the hotel, as was the I Ride trolley. No car really required, as public transport was more than adequate for Seaworld, Wet & Wild, Universal studios, the shopping malls, even Disney if you want to go there. I would go to this hotel again without hesitation, as the staff were exstreamly helpful and could not do enough for you.

“Excelente Opcion”

Nuestro viaje de vacaciones fue desde el 7/17/2001 hasta el 7/22/2011. Nuestra familia constaba de 3 adultos y 4 menores, nos quedamos en un studio con tres camas, un sofacama y cocina. La habitaciones estuvo muy comoda y limpia. El desayuno estuvo perfecto, el staff muy amable, no tuvimos ningun problema. Lo unio que notamos fue que en la cocina no habian ollas para utilizar que si hubiesemos querido cocinar no se hubiese podido. Y otro detallito fue que en el bano de arriba la cortina de bano tenia un poco de corrosion pero, nada de que asustarse. Tiene excelente ubicacion, al menos nuestra familia y yo visitariamos Universal y nos encontrabamos muy cerca a esta parque. En adicion, esta cerca de tiendas de comida, Walgreens, etc. se puede hasta caminar por el lugar sin necesidad de automovil, muy seguro para caminar pues son muchas las personas que se visualizan caminando por el lugar. Sinceramente de tener la oportunidad de quedarme en este hotel nuevamente no lo pensaria. Es de lo mejor!!!!

“Nice but needs updated”

Great location and staff. Needs to be updated and priced accordingly until renovations are done. Wore out mattresses, pillows and linens. Just needs a complete overhaul!

“Comfortable and Clean”

I like the fact of having a full kitchen with all the utensils if I decide to whip something up or heat leftovers. Very nice place, clean great full breakfast in the morning. Monday - Wednesday at 5 -7 they had a free full course meal also. I thought that was pretty cool even though I never got the chance to try it out. Not close enough to the Theme Park to walk, cab prices were not real costly one way .I will stay again. Everyone at the front offie was very nice and helpful. No complaints...

“Feels like home”

Check-in was a breeze. Hotel room has fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook rather than buy food. Proximity to Wal-mart and restaurants of I-drive is a plus. The breakfast buffet is superb. We just wished their times are longer as we usually wake up late. Overall, we felt like the hotel was our home away from home during our 1-week stay.
