“"Would not return"”

The carpet was extremely filthy. Wouldn't walk on it unless I wore slippers. Bugs were crawling in it, too. The towel rack in the master bath fell off when I put a towel on it. The matress was like a rock, the A/C hardly did it's job and the toilets were smaller than standard size that some of our party had to go elswhere to find one on a few occassions. There was only one small lamp on a dresser in the first floor bedroom and it gave off nothing useful. We asked to be switched to another unit and we were told that we'd have to pay the cleaning fee twice, once for the unit we leave and the second unit when we actually left. There were no outside chairs or tables to be able to sit at to enjoy the outdoors. The impression we got when we saw the resrt and lobby made us think we were going to stay somewhere nice. The only good thing I can say is that the food in their restaurant was very good. On my next vacation I'm staying elsewhere.

“i did not like to sleep two nights surrounded by death bugs.”

i request the staff to vacuum mi room because it was full of dead bugs. they took 2 days to do it.the beads were to old, you could feel the coils on you're back.

“The beds are awful.”

The condo was comfortable with the exception of the beds. They were horrible. We were literally sleeping on box springs. The condo was also not as clean as it should have been.The pool area was nice and the kids loved the lazy river.

“Best value for price”

Reserved a 3 bedroom townhouse but was put in a small 4 bedroom townhouse. Complained to front desk and was placed in another larger 4 bedroom townhouse. Did not receive all the television programs as promised. Have stayed here before and was extremely satified. Will be specific with my needs next time.

“fantastic resort”

After reading previous reviews we were sceptical on arriving at Regal Palms but were pleasantly surprised. Staff were great, helpful and friendly, accommodation was luxurious and we couldn't fault it for cleanliness, comfort and space. If we return to Florida we will definitely be booking here again. Pool is fantastic, specially the lazy river and the 'film by the pool' nights a great idea. We didn't eat at the resort restaurant as we were spoilt early on by finding 'Applebee's' just round the corner, but the menu looked good.

“second stay and love it!!”

It's like having your own house on vacation. We love the three bedroom town houses and the resort pool. Service was very friendly. This is not a full hotel service hotel. They provide the house and all the needed housewares, the rest is on you. We make the grocery store the first stop and $60 later we are good for the week. It is very convenient to all the parks, shopping and major roads. They also have great drinks at the pool bar! We have an 8 year old who would be upset if we stayed anywhere else, he loves having a queen size bed, his own bathroom with garden tub and of course the pool, lazy river and slide.

“Not close to Universal Studios/ Orlando attractions”

This property is many miles from Universal Studios. Disney World is a lot closer. The location is in the middle of nowhere. There are no close nice places to sit and eat unless you eat on the property. I was given a voucher for $25 for booking with Expedia but did not get to use because the marketplace was closed. The townhouse was nice and spaceous but the carpet was dingy on the stairs. The cleaning fee is too much for the services rendered. There is a per day resort fee for the use of the hot tub, pool, and fitness center you most likely will not use if you are like me and spend your days at the theme park and the amenities close at 11pm. I would prefer if these rates were included in the hotel rates at time of booking. There was a $250.00 deposit requirement not in the booking fine print also.
