Perfect location

I was kind of skeptical of staying here because of the reviews but it turned out to be completely different then all the reviews I read. The room was nice and clean especially for how cheap it was, and the location was perfect! I would stay here again, can't beat the rates!

Pros: Parking easy and close by. Very nice room rate. Every one smiled and were very courteous.
Location: Good location near I 4 east and west.
Desk clerks and variety store personnel treated me well. Breakfast for 3.99 was excellent. Could not believe how hot it was in Orlando. The AC was good and cold. Room rate was excellent .

No Wonder It's So Cheap (Literally)

Posted 09-Jul-2014
Pros: The balcony with pool view, the in-room refrigerator and microwave, free WiFi, and the location was the only thing I like about this hotel.
Cons: New furniture, higher quality of staff (professionalism, appearance, and decorum), tighter security, high quality of cleanliness, and less riff raff.
Location: About 10-15 minutes from Universal Studios, Wet and Wild, and Florida Interstate-4.
I’ve stayed in Ramada hotels in the past and never have I experienced such a terrible stay as I did at their Orlando Downtown (Florida) location. I booked through Expedia.com because of the Ramada name and the low price of $27 per night ($30.71 after taxes). Upon entering the lobby (which appeared to be grand at some point in the past) there seemed to be vagrants hanging around inside and outside the facility. Although I arrived at about 5 PM, the front desk clerk informed me that there were no King Rooms available and that I would have sit and wait until one was ready. By the way, check-in is at 3 PM. Having me wait in the lobby was the worst thing they could do for someone that observes their surroundings. The staff was very unprofessional, the furniture was dated (looked early 1970’s India style) and unsavory clientele roamed about freely. After an hour the room was ready. The elevator smelled horrible to the point of me having to hold my breath until my floor. The hallways looked like it belonged in a tenement building. The furniture was just as dated as the lobby. My room did include a small refrigerator and microwave oven. The room was supposed to be one of the better ones with a pool view. The balcony view was the only thing that I could appreciate at this hotel. If you’re looking for the type of hotel that seems like those who cater to the “looking to rent by the hour” crowd, then this is a place for you. Otherwise, pay a little more for peace of mind and safety.

Great Price

This hotel could be a great hotel if they sould take the time to clean the rooms and address the stintch of urine and musk in the elevators and hallways. The room was decent but it would have been nice if they would have cleaned it properly like taken oug the trash and left us towles and wash cloths its a good thing i travel with my own towels and sponges i will never ztay here again

Not what i expected

Posted 30-Jun-2014
I had to clean my own room. The Indian house keeper Man is really rude. Someone opened my room door while i was sleep. And the front desk people never know what's going on or They don't care.
