“Just Average”
There were many pros and cons to this place, which makes it only an average place to stay - it wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't terrible. Pros include: stellar location, within minutes of Seaworld and anything on International Drive; Quiet, family friendly complex; restaurant on site; kitchen with all cookware/utensils you need; free parking. Cons include: carb-heavy breakfast that was impossible for me to eat at due to my gluten allergy; run-down rooms that could use updating; hot tub that wasn't actually hot; apathetic desk staff who didn't seem to care about anything; smoking on the property even though the rooms are "non smoking"; no potholders in the kitchen, which means if you cook something hot it's really hard to get it out of the oven. In specifics to our stay, the first room we were given had excellent views and was better updated, but it was at the end of a hall where apparently someone had been smoking quite a bit and it made it impossible to breathe. So we asked for a different room, and even offered to pay more for an updated room closer to the main building, but were still only allowed to move to the same building (which was furthest away) and the room was less nice with tiny tvs and a bad view. Even though there was no one parking in the first few buildings closest to the main building, they wouldn't let us move to one of those rooms! So we had to trudge back and forth from the furthest away building down to the pool/main building.
“Good cost/benefits”
Good cost benefits apartment big but roomaid love chocolates....hide you chocolates...
“Good hotel for foreigners visitors, specially Brazilian nationals”
Reasonable ratio between price and quality of service. It is remarcable the procedure to hire and to keep Brazilian nationals as front desk employees, as it is not usual at another hotels I had already stay. This procedure brings comfortable for Brazilian nationals clients, as many of them does not speak English.
“It would take extreme measures for me to ever book here again!”
For a place in such a posh neighborhood, this was a dump. It has potential, but needs a lot of fix-ups.
“liked it”
Well worth the price. We enjoyed it. Breakfast wasn't great but all else was good.
“Will not go back”
Traveled with family of 7 and chose this hotel only because of 2 full bathrooms but not at all happy with the 2nd bdrm as it did not have enough light in the room and I was sharing with my grandkids so it was very difficult getting them ready and looking for their clothes with not enough light and also lots of ants crawling on the counter which was a total turn off and worst of all the toilet clogged but luckily maintenance fixed it within 5 mins. Front desk was helpful and cleaners provided lots of towels but would not go back again as last year we stayed at Fantasy Villa and were very happy except now they have added resort fee $12.50 a day. Continental breakfast was good, pool ok and location great but would not go back again.
“Good hotel”
good hotel to the money we pay. Hotel is bit far from Disney parks and shuttle service is not very convinient.
“Overall worthy of reccomendation”
We were initially unimpressed with facility but warmed up to its attributes during our four-day visit. Took a little getting used to and additional concentration to figure out general acclimation to location and amenities. Liked the international flavorings and easy access to local bus and I-Trolley routes. Restaurant staff and personnel were very friendly and complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. Guests can select from multiple residential units all of which are laid back and tranquil. Our second floor room was quiet and provided everything we needed. Proximity to Sea World is a real plus. It's close enough to walk to although doing so would be difficult due to lack of sidewalks on International Drive. CVS and Denny's are close by and a new Walgreen's in under construction. Economy -minded travelers will find this hotel to be acceptable. We would return here for familiarity and affordability.
“Great location.”
Location is great. Close to attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. However, our toilet was clogged with only regular uses the first day there. Living area, kitchen and bedroom are fine. We got new TVs, sofa, dinnette and coffeemaker. But bathroom (including floor) could use a remodel. Pots and pan are dirty though so we ended up using the kichen for boiling water only. As other guests suggested, pay a bit more to get an updated, remodel unit. I was staying in regular unit with a tiny door open to balony.
“Orlando stay”
This past weekend was my fifth stay at the Par Cornice hotel. My family and I enjoyed!
