“Great for a 3 day Trip”
The staff at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort was great. Very helpful and friendly in every way. The entertainment was also very enjoyable and great for our child. They try to include every child in the show's some way. The hotel rooms are nicely set up and very comfortable. The cleaning staff was very slow to come around and clean the rooms and forgot to leave some towels even though it was not that crowded. I would say for a few days at the Nickelodeon Hotel it's an awesome place to stay and enjoy. It's got shuttles to a few of the parks around the area and ticket purchases right there. But I would really love to see them grow even more into a more eventful and active hotel. They have the room for it and great entertainers.
“Great recreation and horrible bed mattresses”
The swimming pools and planned recreation was wonderful to take a break from all the Disney experiences. It was quiet at night. The kitchen area did not have any plates or silverware which would have been nice to use for quick meals. The mattresses on both the beds and the couch were way too soft and sagging. A hotel such as this could have much better beds. The kid's bunk room did not have a window, and thus no door, which would have been good to put kids down earlier and enjoy TV without waking them. All in all, it was adequate for our trip and would recommend it to folks on a tight budget who don't want the high prices of Disney. You have to schedule your shuttles to Disney and don't have the liberty to change your plans unless you schedule it ahead of time.
“okay”
I was not real impressed with the hotel. However, my kids did enjoy.
“Good one for a short stay”
Overall service was good. Things were all set and ready when we reached. The stay was comfortable. The hotel was clean. It is a little expensive for the amenities available. One sticking point is that there are no service elevators. So if you leave the room around 9 - 9.30 am you encounter rush hour with the room service crew taking over the elevators. We were left waiting for close to 20 mins to get the elevator. When we asked one of the supervisors, the answer we got was that they are sorry and we gotta wait till the elevators are clear. I would expect better service than this.
“a kid friendly place”
We paid a lot per night and the kids loved it, but for that price they need to update the rooms. They need new carpet and new T.v.'s in the rooms. The food at the hotel was good but costly. We had Fun,Fun,Fun.
“Another great time at the Nick hotel”
As a mother of 3 I am always looking for a great value- and the Nick hotel always satisfies. Helpful hints: This is not a 5 star hotel-so when you get into your room make sure everything works ASAP. This trip the fridge, safe and 2 out of 3 tv's needed to be "fixed" - no big deal. The staff there took care of it in less than a 1/2. Room choice: I always choose a room on a higher floor if it has a pool view. We were lucky with a "parking lot view" why- we were able to watch the Disney fireworks in the distance from the 6th floor in building 4. The kids love being able to sleep in 1 of the twin beds & always fight for the pull out couch (please don't ask me why). Our family looks forward to our next trip back to Nick! Thank you for a great vacation.
“Very nice hotel, very happy, great water park”
Very nice hotel, very happy, great water park
“Nice but not luxurious.”
We had a good time at the resort. The staff is friendly but not pushy (e.g. they have a few shows to sell but they are not in your face doing it). The hotel is close to the parks. If you do not have kids, stay away from this place.
“Good Family getaway”
Plenty to do for families with kids. The Let It Snow event was great!!
“great for kids!”
we loved it...so many fun things to do!
