“don't go there!!”
hotel did not look anything like pictures. room smelled old, tv could see picture good. doors for room falling apart can't open. nasty nasty... don't go there please!!!
“Great location, good value for money”
The hotel has a great location, close to the parks, outlets and restaurants. The rooms are a little bit old but ok if you are looking for a place to sleep. Good value for money.
“Close to Disney, but not Enchanted”
We chose this hotel because it was close to Disney and the price worked with our budget. With that being said, this is not Enchanted Land! The beds were clean, but the overall look and feel of the hotel was old, dated, and in need of repair. We returned at night from the parks a few times and the feel of the surrounding area was just creepy. The hotel grounds are not maintained and the stairs do not have proper lighting. The biggest disappointment is what they call dining. The breakfast is super cheap and a child eats free with the purchase of an adult meal...but I still felt ripped off. The staff was taking a break and chatting in the small eating area and were not helpful when I needed assistance with drinks. Coffee is the only beverage you get with the meal...if you want juice it is extra and if you want soda - you are sent to the vending machine outside :-( The food was horrible and seemed like it had been there for a while. I had to pay a resort fee for each night...I am still wondering what exactly that pays for!
“Rathole.”
We were charged a surcharge after the room had been paid in full in advance via Expedia.
“haunted land”
arrive 50 minutes early of the 4pm check in time (where other hotels ussually is 3pm) but anyways went to check in to drop the laugage and continue to the parks but for my surprise had to pay $21 extra or wait until 4pm, decided to wait. At 4pm check in to room 315, around 4:16 call front desk the a/c was not working, mrs katrina reply to let give it time to cool the room, at 4:50 again recall the a/c never started, this time per kathrina there where no one to check the a/c, will need to change the room. was there any need to go through all this.
“Not worth it”
I choose this hotel for the kids since the pictures show some amenities I was looking for but it was far off the reality. when I checked in at night from a late flight the hotel looked more like a ghetto apartment or a crack house including with the cucarachas on the hallway, very smelly and not very safe feeling from the other guests. I moved out the very next early morning.
“Affordable Stay”
We made our 1st family vacation and stay at the Hojo Enchanted Land. The price of the hotel is very affordable for a family that is budget conscious for a week stay at Orlando. The location of the hotel was convenient and not far from the parks. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel accomadations were decent. The cleanliness of the hotel was ok, maybe that is something that they can improve on. You get what you pay for and that's what we got at the Enchanted Land (an affordable stay). Would I stay at this hotel, I would say yes if I am looking for an affordable stay considering how expensive all the parks can be .
“Very pleased with service!”
We were very pleased with the service. The first room assigned, the AC didn't work very well. However, they were very accommodating by moving us to another room. They even let us check out the room before changing it. The room is definitely comfortable enough if all you looking for is a place to sleep. The location is wonderful. It's near to many shops, restaurants, and DT Disney.
“Don't bother with this dump!”
I have never felt more unsafe. The room was dirty. The toilet wasn't fastened to the floor. It rocked when you used it. When asked to repair it, a bead of caulk was put around the floor. Didn't work. Our towels had holes in them. I guess that was why we were charged an extra $2.50 a day for resort fees. I wouldn't let my enemys stay here, let alone my family.
“depends on which staff are working”
i just spent six days at this hotel with my two sons. i did read other reports on the hotel, and i'm happy i did !! one such report mentioned stained bed sheets. for that reason alone, i checked ours. the hotel was happy to replace it. the daytime manager/check-in assistant, the lady working the breakfast register and the lady selling the disney tickets were all wonderful. the cook seemed to have a bad attitude. the hotel could use a maintenance worker, if only part time. location was perfect for all that we wanted to see and do. we played in the pool daily. i was concerned that it was so inexpensive that it would be a complete hole. i think you get a little more than you pay for here. if i'm on a tight budget next time i visit, i will stay here again.
