“Very Impressed”
We had a most relaxing, trouble-free stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. This was our first stay in a Homewood Suites hotel. The separate lounge and kitchen/diner area was great. Having the choice to eat out or stay in and prepare a meal was so convenient. The bedroom provided very comfortable rest after long day trips sight-seeing. The outdoor pool was a welcome sight during the warm evenings. We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and fellow travellers.
“Good for families if a little far away”
The room and service in this hotel is very good and the free breakfast was more than adequate each morning. There was a never ending supply of clean towels and the guest laundery room was a welcome addition for a family of four. The only down side was the location, which although it didn't look far on the map, was in fact a good 40 minute drive from all the main parks. That aside, this hotel is highly reccomended for good family accomodation at a reasonable price.
“Great Value for money”
We decided to stay close to the airport on our arrival in Sanford from the U.K. Its a long flight, and due to my recent back injury we thought we would give the local area a try for a couple of days before travelling any further. We booked this hotel as it seemed easy to find, which it was, and from the write up it had all the requirements that we were looking for. I know this isn't always a guarantee that you're going to get what you expect, and have conditioned myself to expect less and be pleasantly surprised when you get more than you bargained for. In this case, we were pleasantly surprised for a number of reasons. The rooms have everything you need to make your short or long stay comfortable.. Internet access, 2 large TV's, fridge freezer, small kitchen and seating area, etc, etc. The provided breakfasts and all day tea and coffee were brilliant. We were not expecting to also be provided with an evening meal/buffet on most nights which was superb. The staff were very helpful and provided us with three pages of information and directions on the surrounding area, local diners, shopping, points of interest. etc. There are a lot of interesting attractions within a short distance from this hotel, particularly useful if you don't want to go to the main parks. All in all, we would definitely stay again. The staff are polite, helpful and professional and I am finding it hard to find any negatives about our stay at the Homewood Suites.
“Enjoyable Stay Sept 16 - 29th, 2011”
We had an enjoyable stay and felt the hotel was good, clean, nice service and good value. At times the staff would forget to refill amenities, such as coffee or tissue paper but over all we were happy with the hotel. There was always a good hot breakfast along with cold fruit and cereal options. And Mon - Thurs they offer a managers reception with complimentary dinner, wine and beer. It looked decent though I never tried it as we ate out most evenings but we did enjoy a glass of wine and beer after a dip in the pool. Troy at the front desk was a delight.
