“FANTASTIC HOTEL”

I cannot fault this hotel at all. We had a fantastic holiday here. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy after a long day at the parks! Staff very helpful especially guest services, always happy to offer advice on how to get to the malls and parks. Complimentary breakfast in the hotel was lovely always a good selection of food. Very well situated for Universal Studios around $7 in a taxi. We went there in the evenings for dinner or drinks. Can't wait to go back!

“Great hotel great price great staff”

On arrival we were offered an upgrade from a one bedroom room which was big enough but had no safe or fridge to a bedroom with a seperate lounge and kitchen area. We accepted the upgrade for a very reasonable priceThe staff were all very friendly and helpful.Nothing was too much for them and they were all a great credit to the hotel. The hotel and rooms were all kept very clean. There was a good breakfast with hot items to set you up for the day.There was a great pool area with loungers which we used in the morning before going out. You are able to check in and print off boarding passes for the trip home free of charge in the hotel which was a nice touch. I had trouble phoning to confirm my transfer back to the airport. When I reported this to the lady in reception she rang and sorted it out for us. The location was good as it was quiet but only a couple of minutes walk from international drive. The hotel was a real mixture of people from young families and couples to older couples. There were plenty of Americans staying as well. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Well done to all the staff who worked at the hotel in whatever role, they really were top class.

“great location”

This hotel suited us perfectly. Located halfway between Universal Studios and SeaWorld and approx 15 mins from Disney. Nice to be able to walk to International Drive for a choice of restaurants. Complimentary breakfast meant we could fill up for the day and happy hour was a nice welcome back from a long day in the parks. Expect plastic cups and then you wont be disappointed. The room worked really well with separated bedroom. Large fridge, freezer and microwave (no oven - don't buy pizza, dial one). The pool was heated and was warm enough even when outside temperatures were almost freezing. Basketball section was fun as were communal BBQs. Hotel is not enormous but has a lovely friendly feel to it. I would absolutely go back.

“Excellant stay”

I have just returned from a 2 week vacation at Hawthorn suites and I am singularly impressed with my stay. Having read some of the negative reports I must dissagree with most of them. My room was clean and spacious with regular and ample replenishment of toiletries and towels etc. My room was adjacent to the lifts but I heard very little noise. Breakfast provided was at least adequate for adults and children with a reasonable variety of foods available. The evening complimentary drinks and "nibbles" provided were very welcome. The only minor fault in the Hawthorn was the pool was a little small but having said that I didn't find the pool area overcrowded any time I used it. All the staff, chambermaids, bar staff. breakfast staff and reception staff all were a credit to their hotel and displayed a warm and friendly attitude to the guests (including the rude ones). This hotel is centrally situated to all the attractions and has numerous restuarants and diners within waking distance. Hawthorn suites :- A very good 3 star hotel with staff showing 5 star attitude

“The best hotel in the west!”

Staff were very friendly and professional, breakfast is free and varies slightly from day to day. Rooms (suites) have a kitchen with large fridge and free wireless internet was very fast even on 5th floor. Both lounge and bedrooms have large albeit old TVs. There is a storage area and wardrobe for all the family. Generous checkin/out times, free parking, this hotel is amazing!

“Will never stay anywhere else!”

Everything here far exceeded my expectations and I am picky. Staff all friendly and attentive. I had a problem with my internet and they gave me a toll free number to call and they sent someone out to fix it! Pool heated and cleaned every day. Room nothing but ALL EXCELLENT, no bugs or funny smells. Bed linens changed every day. I asked for a quiet room and they put me in an area where I heard no noise at all. Free bar in the evenings (Bud and good wines) every night from 5:30 - 7:30. Free food on Wednesdays! Good varied hot breakfast and tea and coffee (free) available all day! Good sized pool area and deck. 10 mins walk to I Drive and close to lots of attractions. I'll be in Orlando again next year and I will not have to scour the internet to work out where to stay... Many other guests said they would book here again too.

“Can't wait to return”

Just returned from an 8 night stay. The hotel is in a great location within half an hours walk to universal. The rooms were to a high standard with two queen beds. Carolyne who cleaned the rooms was fantastic, she was very friendly and always helpfull with anything we needed in the room. This is our sixth visit to Orlando and it is still everything we have come to expect. Thanks to Karen and her team. Cant wait to come back. Hopefully it will be warmer.

“Will definitely use this accommodation again”

The Hawthorne Suites, Canada Avenue, I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting accommodation near International Drive and with shuttle bus service to all the parks. The staff were very helpful, rooms of a good size, the bed was huge!! We obviously spent a lot of time at the parks, but the days we had off were spent round the pool on sunloungers with towels provided. We had a fabulous holiday and the accommodation helped make it so

“Perfect for a short break with the kids.”

Rooms were of a good size and had a handy kitchen area (which we did not use but may be of use to some guests). Breakfast was limited but perfectly acceptable and we were amazed to discover that free wine, beer and soft drinks were available every evening for two hours! (Not that the drinks were expensive to buy anyway). The free shuttle service to Disney and Universal was useful but we would have liked to see more choices in return times. All in all, perfect for our requirements and very close to I drive. We would definately stay there again!

“Hawthorn Suites Orlando - very impressed!”

I've just returned from a trip to Orlando, of which 2 nights were stayed in the Hawthorn Suites in Orlando. This is the first time I've tried a Hawthorn Suites, even though I have stayed in Wyndham hotels before. I was very pleasantly surprised and very impressed. For a very competitive rate, I received a decent size very clean room, free wireless internet, free breakfast and free beer from 5-8pm. The location is excellent just off Sand Lake road and one block from the buzy International Drive. There are many restaurants within walking distance and the area appears very safe. I will definitely stay at Hawthorn Suites again, and I'd thoroughly recommend you trying this one.
