“Totally satisfied, waiting for my next vixit.”

From the moment we aeeived,'til the moment we left, the service was "Excellent". The view from our room in the 12th floor was spectacular, especially at night.the service at the restaurant was very good, and the personel was very friendly, not to mention that the food was very good. The desing of the building was very "unique" which made it hard for even a fist timer hard to get lost.

The Parks. But make sure that you plan your itinerari well so you can take advantage ofeveruthing the parks have to offer. And obviously, don"t take the weather for granted.Judt because it is Florida doesn"t mean it might not get cold,or it isn"t going to rain. BE PREPARED>

“Excellent budget hotel for vacation”

I have travelled many times and stayed almost chain hotel, but this little hotel is one of our favorite. -The room was very clean, nice and good smell. - Great location on I-Drive, just minutes away from Red Lobster, 7Eleven, Denny's, IHOP, Sweet Tomatoes and the Trolley stops for both red & green lines, almost bus line to Downtown, shopping, airport and many more… - Very helpful, nice, police and accomodating staff with excellent suggestions for your needs. A fantastic place to stay in Orlando, Nothing to be disappointed! - We definitely recommend this hotel. We will tell our friends, family, travel agent to recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Orlando. Keep up the good work my friends!! - We hope to return next year (Hop and wife)

“Very respectable hotel that offers a lot”

This hotel has just about everything the middle tier Disney hotels have to offer albeit on a smaller scale. It is cleaner in my opinion and well worth the money. I didn't get to try out any of the ammenities but they all looked promising. I plan to stay here again soon.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

I enjoyed a 3 night stayhere at the Sheraton Four Points. Always greeted when I walked through the front entrance. Very close to Attractions, restaurants. Pool was decent, good for a quick dip. The only issue I had and it was a minor one, was that my room didn't get cleaned til around 4pm, one of my day's I got back early and wanted to take a quick nap, but had to wait for my room to get cleaned. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.

When to go
The day after Labor day was perfect to go to Disney. Absolutely no crowds, no wait to go on any rides!!

“Best Hotel Ive stayed in!”

This was my best hotel stay so far! I loved how clean the hotel smelled each time we walked into the lobby. Our room needed one of the three sets of blinds fixed of which we made a note, but there are three sets and so the other two took care of the light. Each room has its own thermostat and AC. I didn't noticed this until the next day when we left and couldn't figure out how to turn the air down! (They should make a note on the AC unit!) The beds were SO comfortable. There was one feather pillow on each bed including the 3 normal pillows, I don't know if this was a mistake but it sure made us comfortable as well as ALL the extra pillows. I loved it. We also ordered room service for the first time.. breakfast. The prices were decent and the food was really good. It was nice to have breakfast in bed and the Lady that brought it to us was very sweet and smiled a lot and very friendly! We didn't make it to the pool area as it was closed because of a storm but it looked very nice and true to the pictures. They had a game room and a very nice lobby. They also have comfortable chairs near the elevators for you as you wait! Lots of places to walk to nearby, Wet & Wild was right across the street, many food choices close by. I would stay here again!!

When to go
We checked in around 6. There was not a lot of people there at the time. Was really busy in the front lobby in the later part of the night.
What to pack
Bathing suit. Something to keep you extra warm.
Family-friendly activities
Congo River golf right outside of hotel! Was fun and there is a coupon in the little booklets downstairs the lobby provides. Wet & Wild across the street! Pirate Dinner Adventure is right down the block, very fun for kids and funny for adults!
Outdoors or beach
Bring Sun block and bug spray!

“Solid hotel, with an icky drawback”

I've been very happy with the hotel for price, location, etc, but there is one issue that has me concerned. Bugs. We've found beetles, a very feisty cockroach, and several mosquitoes in the room. Other than the bugs it's pretty darn clean, but that does spook a person.

“nice place”

Hotel staff and facilities are nice. I was traveling on business and was disappointed when they charged me to receive a package. Very convenient to food, shopping and interstate 4.

“Problem with airconditioning unit”

The staff were accommodating, checked us in as soon as we arrived. The room was okay, the beds and pillows were comfortable but the A/C needed updating. The first night was not too bad, the humming of the A/C was tolerable but the next day the noise cranked up and didn't cool down the room. After a long day at the park, it wasn't amusing at all. My husband asked for the maintenance guy at past 10 pm and had to follow up as no one came up, apparently the guy was very busy with other guests' A/C's. He had to replace the unit so it took a little bit longer, but he did a very good job. We finally got a rest at past 11 pm. I forgot to get boarding passes for the shuttle bus so we had to take the taxi from Universal coming back to hotel (we walked from hotel to Universal). It would really help if the front desk staff would tell guests upon check in where to get those passes. Not everybody reads their pamphlets so a little assistance would really help. Cleanliness needs improvement as well. I don't mind if the bathroom is old for as long as it is clean. Another thing that the management should look into is having separate restrooms for male and female guests at the lobby. When we came back from shopping, I intended to use the washroom at the ground floor as both my son and husband would be using the one in our room. It is disturbing to see a unisex restroom in a hotel lobby. I quickly went upstairs when I saw a male coming out of the only restroom near the lobby.

Area recommendations
Four Points is a very practical choice if you're planning to visit Universal parks, so are the other 2 hotels behind it due to close proximity to the Universal and Wet & Wild. If you missed the shuttle bus, you can just walk. But if you're used to a little pampering and quieter A/C's, this hotel is not for you. As well, if you're planning to visit Disney World it would be better if you moved to a Disney hotel after you're done with Universal and outlet mall shopping (both north and south outlet malls are accessible by I-Trolley, which has stops right outside Four Points). We moved to Pop Century on the 2nd half of our vacation and it was well worth it. It's a cheaper and practical alternative than commuting or driving from Four Points to Disney World. Taxi fare would bust your wallet. Being a guest at a Disney hotel, you will have access to Disney's shuttle buses, which offer all-day shuttle service to all Disney parks and hotels unlike Universal's which has very limited number of scheduled trips. You can choose from a large selection of Disney hotels at different budget levels (Pop Century is one of the cheapest, but the service is impeccable). Distance to Disney parks doesn't matter, shuttle buses are always coming and going to any destination.
When to go
Summer is not the best time to go to Florida, the heat deadens the experience. My son refused to go out because it was 96 degrees outside. Being from Canada, it gets a lot of getting used to hot and humid weather. If I knew what I know now, we would have gone in March or October/November.
Getting around
I-Trolley costs only $1.25 one way, or $4 for one day unlimited hop-on/hop-off, but it doesn't go to Universal. It services Aquatica, Seaworld, Orange County Convention Center, shopping malls and a lot of other hotels along International Drive. We had a joy-ride on I-Trolley after Universal closed for the night and went to see Festival Bay Mall. If you stay at a Disney hotel, shuttle to/from airport and Disney parks are provided.
Must see
If you're going Disney, you may want to check out Downtown Disney. I only bought a few stuff there but I loved what I saw, it was more like a park than a shopping centre.
Shopping
I bought my Disney stuff from the outlet mall, and they're cheaper than the Disney parks' stores.
Dining
We had Universal Meal Plan and Disney Dining Plan so we had only 2 meals outside the parks. We had late lunch on our first day at IHOP that my son dubbed International House of Oily Pans because I couldn't finish my food, it felt like I was drinking oil. I would recommend getting Disney dining plan, it's awesome! For people who don't eat much, Disney's Dining Plan beats Universal's Meal Deal. Disney has a lot more healthy food choices and it comes with beverages, too!
