I don't normally write reviews but I thought this stay warranted one. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Encantada. Our children loved that they could walk out the back door and straight into our personal pool. We really felt like we were at home away from home. The close proximity to shopping, the highway and various food options were definitely a plus. We were very disappointed however, by how dirty the unit was. The layer of dust which was caked up on various fixtures was appalling. The carpet and sofas are in dire need of a deep clean. When we were leaving, my son was checking his room to make sure he wasn't leaving anything, and found a sanitary pad stuck to the back of the curtain next to his bed along with glasses under his bed. The sanitary napkin was open and out of the wrapper so it was unclear whether it was used or not. This definitely made me not want to either recommend this place to someone in the future nor stay here again. Maybe I will try their sister resort next time.

Great Location! Staff Friendly! Townhome was nice! Only issue was that the hot tub water and cover was not properly maintained. Other than that everything was wonderful and would definitely stay again!

Normally, I do not do reviews; however, I had a horrible experience with this property.. This location look really bad at first sight! It needed to be pressed washed years ago…it looked nothing like the pictures online! Initially, I reserved a 4 bedroom w/pool. When we went inside, we immediately saw dust/dirt everywhere and the unit smelled like smoke. The living room furniture was supposed to be white; however, it was dingy and had dirt stains on it. The pool needed to be cleaned…had a lot of debris in it. Upstairs, it was also dirty and had the smoke smell as well. We chose not to stay in this unit so we went back to check-in. After speaking with the representative, I asked for a refund and was told no…even though I was informed there were no more units available similar to the one I reserved. They eventually found a smaller unit for us to use. The next unit (I will say, was cleaned, but it’s in major need of mattresses…all of the mattresses in each bedroom you can hear and feel springs when sitting/laying/turning on them! The mattress in the Master bedroom was sunken in on the left side as if a large person has been sleeping on it for many years. No one slept in that room because you’d keep rolling to the left side. The living room furniture was almost as bad. We ended up sitting on the kitchen chairs because when you sit on the sofa, it seems as if I was sitting on the floor. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to reserve this property.

I was there for 5 nights. Communication was horrible. The rooms were not ready when we got there around 4.30pm. They charged more than what I was supposed to be paying. Overall bad experience with them.

Do not check in after hours. I waited 30 minutes for the guard for check in. He was not at the guard house. When he got back he wanted me to go to the back of the line of cars that had gathered while waiting. By this time there were a minimum of 12 cars. I said no so he threatened me to call the cops if i didn’t go to the back. I told him i waited patiently now over 30 minutes and i was not going to move. He eventually opened the other gate to let the line of cars through and finally helped me for check in. Other than that unit was clean, beds were ok. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Did not use any of the properties amenities while visiting.

The property was in bad condition. This is oue third day hear without air conditioning. This is unacceptable. Nobody answers our complaints. How could you offer this property for people who only wants enjoy with the family

Clubhouse is never open at a reasonable time. Not enough staff on sight to help. Our pool heater never worked…. And they never came to fix it after we called. Victoria was the only employee around and she was helpful.

We Arrived late & couldn’t get in, had to go to gate and have em get us in. Finally at 2am we were able to get in. The place smelled of urine & wet dog, the toilet on main floor had urine in it and was clogged, not clean at all. There was pet hair on the carpets upstairs. The king bed was completely shot. My daughter has severe asthma and got very sick and required medical attention . They Offered to move us and upgrade us, we moved and it was smaller than original, but it was cleaner. The code again didn’t work once we moved. We stayed here 5 years ago and had a fantastic experience, but it’s really gone down hill. We’ll be back in a couple years, but will be staying elsewhere.

We have stayed here twice now once with the old owners CLC and now with IDILIQ. This time around we chose a 3 bedroom with a pool and to our surprise it had been tastefully remodeled. We love staying there the location is excellent and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint is they don’t put extra toilet paper in the units. So late at night when we needed some I went to the guard shack and was told that I would have to wait until the next day when the office was open to get more. Instead I went to the gas station and bought some because when you need it you need it. I highly recommend this place but also recommend bringing an extra roll or two. 😉

It wasn’t cleaned well & didn’t supply garbage bags or toiletries. When asked they said they do not supply any but we were never informed and the website says toiletries are included. The heater/ac stopped working so we were very uncomfortable our last 2 days. The pics do not match the home. House needs to be cleaned properly and have some repairs done. There were very loud guest up all night near us that woke up our children. Overall not satisfied with home or staff

Good for family stay in a homelike setting
Nice to be able to stay in a home like setting. We were on an end unit and enjoyed the hot tub. Fairly quiet but also kind of loud for me, not the world’s s best construction… pretty basic with just the bare essentials. But overall convenient and a nice stay.

The condo smelled like cigarettes, it was hot and we were unable to change the temp on the A/C. In 2 of the 3 bedrooms the beds were uncomfortable and the ceiling fans made a noise when they were on and it was hard to sleep. At arrival we were supposed to be charged a fee and they did not charge us and I had to go back another day for the office to charge our card.

The townhome was clean all around and smelled fresh. The only thing was cockroaches were seen in the kitchen area and the whirlpool button was not working during our stay so pool water was cold.

Wonderful resort

I did not make it all around the property so I cannot comment on that but as far as our unit, besides the fact of the space it had, and the convenience of your own splash pool that we had, everything else was poor. As soon as we got there there was trash left outside splattered everywhere by entrance, the walls to unit were filthy. As soon as we walked in the unit there was a dead frog that had been smashed but left there, it was so late when we came in that we just picked it up and hoped that would be. We unpacked and went to bed which I got awaken by my Mother screaming as there was a lizard in her room and we had to capture it and put it outside a whole ordeal. In the morning we started noticing just how dirty truly the unit was all the baseboards and corners of floors and even the floor itself was clearly not properly clean they were nasty. There were ants crawling up the wall going up the stairs. Outside the pool was okay but the floor was not clearly even power wash cleaned and windows and walls were just filthy which made us feel like nothing was truly clean. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE ICING ON THE CAKE. That night we had bought a few groceries and to our dismay as we are putting them away ROACHES!!!! First it was a small one which threw us over after already encountering other bugs but it ended up being a literal infestation they all came out that evening I don’t know how many we had killed. I’m talking about even a roach inside of the refrigerator!!!!!!! Unacceptable!!!!
