“Bit dissappointed given it was a Hilton”

The Hotel overall was clean and pleasant. The staff in general were friendly. We found the recepetion could be slow, and they would sometimes deal with people not in order which could be frustrating. The rooms were cleaned regularly but the beds were not made properly and they would just cover them over and tuck them in. This was ok until you get into bed and find the sheets underneath not made up. We used one of the in-house restuarants one eve only to find two staff bickering about whether we should have to wait another 10 minutes or be allowed to come in. Overall I would have expected more for the money, but it was still a pleasant stay. I would chose a less expensive hotel next time as I felt this hotel was not up to the standard I expected. I would not recommend it as I did not feel it was value for money.

Area recommendations

We went to 12 parks in 14 days including Kennedy Space Centre, which was fantastic. Out of the disney parks Epcot was our favourite, but don't miss out on the others and Blizzard Beach. Animal Kingdon definately wouldn't be top of the list to return to. What lets everything down is the excessive cost. It's all personal preference though!

Getting around

We used Dollar rent a car, this was a huge mistake. We felt ripped off and pressurised before we had even got in the car. They told us that Expedia had not advised us correctly about the insurance and we would not be covered if we did not take out additional insurance, they tried hiring us another car for some ridiculous price. They also told us we would need a toll pass (which we didnt take) and found we didnt need it. It wasnt a pleasant start to the holiday. The cost of the car ended up far higher than we originally thought. We would not use Dollar again.

“"Convenient and Comfortable"”

Check-in and check-out was a breeze. They even give you a delicious complimentary cookie. They were so good, i ended up buying more from the deli. The room was located outside the main building but easily nearby. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and colors of the room. The bed was super comfortable, making it harder for you to wake up in the morning. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Orlando.

“Comfortable but average”

“Just a hotel”

Last time we stayed they overbooked and upgraded us to a jr suite in the tower overlooking sea world. That room was WOW. This time it was "just a hotel room" with a crappy view. When we asked how much it would be to upgrade to the junior suite it would have almost doubled the amount. We could have stayed at the Ritz for that! No thanks!

“Best hotel on I-drive!”

We had a room by the main pool and we have no complaints at all. The room was very comfortable, modern and always kept clean. The pool was beautiful and clean, with a disney movie on a Saturday evening shown at the poolside. The staff were polite and friendly, always ready to help. The hotel's restuarant served amazing, reasonably-priced food and delivered to your room for a small charge. The I-trolly stops right outside the front of the hotel which runs the length of International Drive and if you left the hotel from a different entrance you could pick up a Lynx bus, which will take you into Disney. Take advantage of the complimentary quick queue passes for Seaworld as they get you right to the front of the queue for all the major rides! We loved this hotel and would DEFINITELY visit again!

Centrally located to big theme parks. Clean and modern. Even the hotel scent is tropical!

Getting around

You can walk to Aquadica park but be careful as there is no side walkway for pedestrians once at the park. You must use the driveway with caution.

“Wonderful”

I love the Double Tree at Sea World Hotel. I haved stayed at this Hotel in 2009, 2011, and I'll be back in 2012. Thanks to everyone my friends had a great time as well.
