Brilliant stay, amazing staff, Clean comfy room

Posted 03-May-2015
Stayed for one night whilst waiting to meet friends. It was such a pleasure with I could of stayed longer. Staff so friendly and helpful. I stayed in the little mermaid rooms which were a joy, I have seen people moaning about the walk from the main building to the rooms and honestly it's not that far at all. Room immaculately clean and very comfortable!!!

Awesome new hotel, same terrible coffee

Posted 02-May-2015
As a value disney resort you cannot beat this place. It's brand new and feels that way. However the food on site is awful. The coffee is particularly awful and worth mentioning to disney staff that your coffee tastes rancid.

Really clean, nice hotel

Posted 01-May-2015
Pros: Theme rooms
Cons: Nothing
Location: Disney, of course :)
We stayed in the Little Mermaid building, which is located way in the back. However, it was such a nice walk to the lobby and main pool. There are tons of cute things you will pass en route. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is great. As in any other Disney property expect to pay extra for food but the options in this hotel are very diverse and have dishes for every taste. Breakfast (as expected) is the crowdest time to be in the restaurant and the queues are a bit long but nothing that you don't expect ahead of time. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is always great and ready to help with any questions/concerns you might have.

Not worth it for a Disney property hotel

Posted 29-Apr-2015
The room was really really small and dark. We had the little mermaid room and it felt like we were staying at a motel vs a hotel. It's a far walk from the main building/cafe/transportation.

Good hotel and value for money.

Pros: Like the cable tv, comfy beds and shuttle service to get too and from other Disney attractions / locations. The foyer/main lobby was impressive!
Cons: The choice of plastic chairs in the room and the plastic curtain to separate the room from the sink/luggage storage area made it feel a bit cheap
Location: Not a lot to do at or near the hotel other than swim as one of the many pools.
We had a room in the Ariel Mermaid section which is about as far away from the main reception / check-in desk as you can possibly get and was a 7 - 10 minute walk to our room which is not great particularly in 30 degree celsius heat however the walk is nice going through Lion King section. Check-in is fast, efficient and very friendly. We got there are around 1pm and they were able to give us access to our room immediately. The eating area is spacious and comfortable and a there was a surprisingly good range of food on offer with healthy eating options available to compliment the standard fat filled, high sugar, up-sized servings of food that you traditionally get in the USA. The shuttle service to and from Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom and all other Disney locations was fast, easy and efficient. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a shuttle to go anywhere and they run all day up to as late at 2am in the morning. The room we had was with 2 double beds and was compact, a little on the small size but very comfortable. Free-wi-fi and a nice flat screen tv with heaps of cable tv channels to choose from was great. Only criticism was the exhaust fan in the bathroom was a bit noisy but nothing that would upset your sleeping. Air-conditioning was good. Room was clean and given it was the furthest from the main building meant it was very quiet. For the price you are paying it was good value!

Perferct for the children...lots of "animation"

Posted 28-Apr-2015
Pros: Decorations Room cleanliness
Cons: Check out was not as easy as they said it would be with separating invoices with adults. they took money off our card before asking and before the max
Location: It was far from many things
Excellent greeting on arrival, hotel lobby exceptionally well decorated for children, clean. The restaurant on site was so so. Breakfast was ok the rest of the meals were disappointing.

Awesome resort

Posted 27-Apr-2015
Pros: The themed resort and rooms were awesome.
Cons: Had a fairly long walk to bus transportation.
Location: Great location for Walt Disney World. Just a few miles away.
It just doesn't get any better than this. Cutest resort ever! Your kids will love it!
