“best bed I have ever slept in”
The only complaint I have is that when I connected to the internet I was charged every time I logged on, when you are meant to pay one charge for 24 hours. However each time I reported this, there was no problem and they reversed the charge. Plenty of clean towels, room was only cleaned once whilst we stayed, but as we were out all day every day, that wasnt a problem. Incredibly convenient location, could actually walk to Downtown disney and then get the free Disney buses, but we usually drove there as we had hired a car. However if I came again and brought my granddaughters, I may not bother with a car as they would just want Disney. Washing machine on complex so could cut down on luggage.
“Will be back”
This hotel is one of the best placed I have been to. Close to all the Disney Parks and right around the corner to crossroads and Downtown Disney. Nice big rooms with everything you might need for a home away from home. We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments and were very pleased. Only two small niggles - One, that the small one bedroom unit is attached to the side of the two bedroom units allowing lock off, but there is little to no sound proofing so other guessed who were noisy were quite disturbing. Second - the hot water in the unit took a very long time to arrive, meaning quite a lot of water is wasted. Other than these small issues I loved the resort and will definatley be back.
“Great place for families to stay!”
I was attending a conference and concurrently taking my family to Disneyworld. We booked this place because it was half the price of a room at where my conference was being held. We could not have been happier. We got a 2 bedroom and it was much bigger than we had anticipated. It was like an large apartment. The room was a little dated, but not bad and was clean. It was great to have a full kitchen and we bought groceries and ate at "home" several nights. The pools were nice and clean and the convenience store on the property was great for picking up forgotten items or a snack. BTW, the prices on ordering food from there (hamburgers, pizza, etc.) was VERY reasonable. All rooms are now non smoking. SInce this is a time share, they do ask you to go to a presentation. Nice thing was, they asked once upon check in, I said no thanks, and that was the last I heard of it. No pressure and it was no different than any other hotel. To complete the review, there were a few complaints we had. First, the front desk was pretty slow. I only dealt with them at check in and check out, but be prepared. Second, the walls are pretty thin and it can be a bit noisy. Third, in the morning and late evening (after 9pm), parking can be hard to find and you may end up parking quite a ways from your building. Lastly, internet is not free. Even with the complaints, we were very happy with our stay and will stay here on future trips to Orlando.
“Clean, very reasonably priced, and spacious”
Spent 3 nights in a two bedroom room on business. Very clean room. Very well laid out with plenty of living space for a family. We were out of season for vacationers, so the rate was incredibly cheap. We were able to use the space as coworkers and yet have our privacy at the same time. Minor problem with the a/c that was fixed immediately. No maid service during stay. Didn't realize that we had to request it with a doorknob hanger. We assumed that it was automatic. Again no big deal. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
“Loved the condo suite but didn't expect to go to Timeshare Presentation”
The morning after we arrived, we received phone call from front desk letting us know there was a Welcome Package. When we picked it up, gentleman informed us we could receive discount for Walt Disney, Seaworld, etc. if we attend a presentation. So just be aware this does happen at this resort. Otherwise, guest services was very helpful, check in and check out no problems. Also resort has many amenites such as hot tub, large swimming area, game room, exercise room and gorgeous buildings.
“Beautiful rooms - Great Value”
Clean, beautiful and spacious rooms. Up to date furnishings and kitchen. Large kitchen, dining room and living room with 52 inch TV. The separate jaguzzi tub and double shower in the Master bedroom where fantastic. Two large pools and 2 large outdoor jaguzzis plus 9 hole miniture golf. The grounds are kept up nicely. We've stayed here 3 times and can't wait to go back.
“Great Disney Location”
Comfortable, convenient, way more affordable than Disney properties, but just as close.
“Had a great stay.”
I must admit, I was a little apprehensive about Cypress Pointe Villas after reading some of the reviews. I had no problem with checking in and successfully avoided the time share people. When we got to our units (we had two two bedroom suites) I was really impressed! It was dated but very clean, well supplied, and everything worked. The screened-in balcony is big enough for four people. We used it all the time. There was a stacking washer/dryer, dishes and all the necessary items in the kitchen. There was a full sized dining room table and chairs (set with dishes and napkins--nice homey touch) and a bar in the kitchen. The beds were comfy. There was plenty of room in the living room even when you opened up the queen sized sofa/bed. There's a flat screen tv in the living room and in both bedrooms. We took advantage of the hot tub, putting green, work out room, and the store by the pool. The grounds are meticulous and everyone there works very hard. There was plenty of security and I felt perfectly safe using the hot tub late at night. The pool/hot tub are open until midnight. It's really great to relax after a long, hard day walking around at your favorite amusement park. :) The location is very convenient. Just don't miss your turn-off because traffic on S. Apopka Vineland Rd. is a real pain.
“Great location”
Great location to all the theme parks and lots of restaurants nearby. We would definately return.
“will return again”
second stay here, close to all major attractions, numerous dining options close by for all tastes. Rooms are nice and spacious, seperate bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, all u need if u plan on stayiing in your room! Cant beat the price, also convenience store on property. Major complaint would be, the beds are hard as a rock! and wireless really isnt worth it, unless i was just in wrong area, who knows?
