“Not impressed at all.”

I can only speak for my room which I reserved from a Tuesday thru a Sunday night. Too small and the noise was awful. People have no respect for other people as far as slamming doors during the night and the barking of the dogs. You should have a certain hallway that is just for animals. My room was on the first floor in the front because I a nd my campion are handicapped. Everytime the air cond kicked on it brought it all the smoke from the people outside standing or sitting on the bench. My campion has ashyma very very bad and boy did this bother him to no end.

“I loved it!”

I loved Candlewood Suites. The staff was very helpful and sweet. The room was spacious and everything was spotless. I would definitely stay again.

“Altamonte”

The Hotel was in a good location, close to fun places to hang out and eat or drink, easy to get on the express way to go to Universal etc. The rooms are nice more like an apartment then a hotel, with kitchen and sitting area, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We Have stayed there twice in the last 2 months.

The rooms has all the comfort of home. Tv , DVD player kitchen and comfortable chairs I would book again :)

“Overall, a nice place to stay and a good value for the money”

It was a nice place to stay, very convenient having a kitchen in the room. The room was clean, however the carpet was filthy. Could use a good steam cleaning. They don't clean the room while you're there but we knew that before we booked and that's okay for us. All the appliances and air conditioning worked fine. The bed was very comfortable. Good location. We would stay there again.

Area recommendations
Altamonte Springs is close to Orlando and has a nice outdoor shopping mall, Uptown Altamonte, that surrounds a lake. There is a mall nearby with lots of shopping and nice places to eat. We we visiting our son who moved there a year ago. It's an hour away from Tampa on the west coast and Cocoa beach on the east coast. So there's plenty to see and do.
Dining
Altamonte Springs has many nice restaurants. Most are reasonably priced, and there is a nice variety. Being so close to Orlando you can go there and visit the more upscale restaurants on International Drive. Taverna Opa has excellent Greek food and there was a Comedy club and other nice restaurants and shops.

“Don't get the studio room!”

The studio that we reserved was just okay. The carpet was stained and everything looked old (like the tv, furniture and stuff like that). We decided to upgrade and pay the difference to the one bedroom and it was much better. The room had new appliances, leather chairs, and was just overall much nicer than the studio all of this for a small upgrade fee (totally worth it!). I would stay again in the 1 bedroom suite. Don't waste your time with the studio.

Area recommendations
Altamonte Springs, not too far from Orlando, but far enough not to have to pay tourist prices.

“Great Place”

Great looking hotel, out of the way. Quiet and clean. There is no pool but but there is a decent little gym and a little shop that works on honor system. The in room kitchen will save you a couple of bucks if you are traveling on a budget, supermarkets are very close by. The rooms have a DVD player and the Wi-fi works great. The nearby Cranes Roost Park was a pleasant surprise and a great little park to walk and enjoy a warm spring evening. The Altamonte Mall is a short drive,and there are numerous restaurants in the general area. The major Orlando attractions(Disney, Seaworld, Aquatica, Universal) are all less than an hours drive from hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would return to the Candlewood and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
