Just some cosmetic things. The couch looked dirty, needed a good cleaning. The stopper was broken in the bath tub, the hook literally fell off the wall when I went to hang my towel on it. Other than that the staff was very nice and accommodating.
The hotel was nice. No free breakfast, but they had a nice selection of items you could purchase, plus free coffee. It was an easy drive to the Sanford airport in the morning.

The hotel is convenient to Boom Bah Sports Complex. BUT, the hotel is in severe disrepair. The elevator was broken. The HVAC in my room did not work. It would not heat on a 45 degree weekend:so COLD and uncomfortable! The shower water pressure was weak. I had to carry my luggage to my upper floor room because the elevator call button was broken. I won’t be staying at any IHG hotels in the future (and I am a member).

Nice clean hotel but I do have a few complaints. First is the elevator was down when I was there. Second is the AC/heat wasn't working in my room and finally the hotel is right next to the highway so traffic noise can be loud and keep you awake all night. If you're a light sleeper you want a room on the other side. The room itself was modern, clean and bright.
Property is well kept although a bit outdated. Clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff. I’d stay there next time I need a place in Sanford.

First night I was on the side by I 4, terrible road noise and didn’t sleep well. The hotel staff was accommodating and moved me for the second night, so much better.

What I didn’t like, was the owners of the dogs didn’t pick up the poop after they dog was done, had to be careful in the morning when coming out the hotel door to go outside .

Our room was not clean and also smelled bad. Right off the bat i had to clean the bathroom and all floors. Also, the buttons on the elevators are damaged and present potential electrical problems.

The front desk staff were very professional especially the two Jamaican-born ladies. They made me feel quite at home. The rooms were so well laid out and the access to fresh air through sliding windows was a welcome plus. I would stay there again. I would, however, recommend having a designated area close to the entrance that accommodates guests loading and unloading their vehicles.

Property is a bit dated, but it’s comfortable and clean where it’s important. The button for the elevator was pushed in and you could see the wires. Coffee maker had old grounds in it. Bathroom was clean.

The room smelled like a dive bar. Shower head was moldy and dirty. Would never stay in another candlewood based off this experience.

Sadly my stay here was not what I thought it would be. My bathroom was infested with bugs and there were roaches in the kitchen. I only stayed a short stay and barely got any rest because it was just filthy

It was a disappointment to say the lease. The room itself appeared clean when we first got in but unfortunately wasn't. THERE WERE FLEAS IN THE BED. Ms. D(Diana) on overnight was very understanding and polite about getting us moved to a new room, came in to check it with us, and gave us some drinks for our inconvenience. I thought I would finally be able to rest only to find the next room had mini ants/bugs crawling on the counters onto our bags. I held Candlewood to a higher standard than this. PLEASE GET YOUR HOTEL PEST CONTROL IF YOU'RE GOING TO ALLOW PETS.
